All that comes to my mind is this: Love Your Enemies (Leviticus 24:17–23; Luke 6:27–36) 38You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’o 39But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; 40if someone wants...

Lol.

Maybe

I guess we differ in how we believe Jesus was to return then, no sense in trying to reason with a mind already made up @ScottA. I believe those who were told to watch and wait, did see Jesus. Perhaps they seen the Lord God Almighty. I don’t know all I know is that I believe in faith he came and...

Did you watch the video, Robert?

This has to do more with how one speaks to others, Robert. Did you watch the video by chance, Robert or did you just decide to comment? All the best to you and your family.

I don't believe the idea that Jesus turned into the Holy Spirit. That doesn't make sense to me. There is the Spirit of Christ though that dwells with-in believers, and you have the Holy Spirit of God; which is given by the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ when one believes on whom God had...

Everyone in a way are going to experience being revealed to who Christ is, @ScottA. As He is the Lord God Almighty, the one who judges us at our death. Perhaps for most that will be their second coming experience in a certain way. I just do not believe that there would ever be a destruction...

I guess you could say I am just tired of the old traditional teaching that "Jesus is coming back so you better get ready", as Christians you would think you should be ready to be able to go on to be with God after this life, after having lived a life for God in Christ while one is here.

Unless of course people believe they will be on a new earth or whatever, whatever people believe is not really my own problem. I don't mind whatever people believe in general.

Those scriptures still have application today. One day you too will die, and go on to be part of the Heavenly Kingdom though you experience being part of it now, being able to pray to the Father. People forget that we have to die to go on forward. Of course there are scripture like Enoch who...

Would be careful to who you call a fool, but glad to see you do not care either way. Thank you Mike. No letters are addressed to anyone in America today, or any other country, so all scripture if you take it literally all would apply to those people being written to in that day in age, in and...

Ok

There is no doubt in my mind that the possibilities of a "church" that is over its "people that go there" have some form of mandates depending on a person in where they may go. Such as Latter Day Saints, Jehovah witness, and perhaps even "so-called" Christian churches. I never went a to a...

And I'm not saying that bible is not useful for people to build up their faith and have their mind renewed by and through the spirit.

I don't believe that @Davy, but maybe you do. Its fine. As there are millions of people unsure of how to take the Bible historically for those people then in that day in age.

So many people have... done it. I highly recommend this reading https://www.amazon.com/Christianitys-Great-Dilemma-Jesus-Coming/dp/1453873740

Just asking about people who continue to say Jesus Christ is coming but die never seeing it.
