Sadly Matthew, this claim is unscriptural. Even when Christ is given dominion over all of the peoples of the earth at the end of this present age, the Saints will suffer during the seventh Age, as Satan, before he is locked up in the Bottomless Pit for 1,000 years, will have given his servants the means by which they can obstruct Christ's dominion reign during the last age and right up to the end of the last age.
From what Jesus said, is that the Kingdom of God is with-in our midst. I thought that to mean as for people who choose to look and turn towards God and see the Lord Jesus Christ as his Son that was from above, being the Word of God made flesh whose named meant that he will save his people form their sins, born of the Virgin Mary, and father Joseph being of the linage of King David, the promised messiah in the flesh being from above came down from heaven sent by God, to proclaim the coming Kingdom, and the coming wrath upon them which was known as the great and dreadful day of the Lord when Jesus would return after having died, he was buried and raised again, and promised to come back again by the apostles as they moved on into the last days proclaimed by Peter in the early opening of Acts, then Paul comes in. Then we got all the rest of the Letters.
I have come to realize that if I believe in faith that Jesus Christ has already came to those in that generation, casting the devil and his angels, the false prophet, the beast, out of the world, overcoming spiritual death: which brings forth new spiritual life in and through people who turn towards God by and through the Holy Spirit which is given by and through faith on the Lord being with him on the cross; by picking up our own cross, dying to ourselves, and living being buried and raised again in Christ who was risen from God from the dead.
When people come to faith now today, they should know they have a family of believers that are in heaven, and that people are raised from the dead, faithful, and faithless, there is a place that God has set up for them, and God is no longer angry due to the wrath of God being poured out on Jerusalem which was a promise to come by John the Baptist.
So many amazing things God has done for all people and Jesus said himself that his kingdom was not of this world; so this world is not somthing we should look towards as far as spiritual things - and instead pray and ask God to help us with wisdom and learning and growing and maturing and think on the things of the heavenly because that is what is going to reside with-in the Heavenly Realm - be it people on the outside, or people of faith on the inside because they made the choice to look and serve God now in this life, in faith and God rewards people who seek him out in faith.
Amazing stuff, Jay.
