    The saints of Israel

Gen. 35:10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. 11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings...

    The Jazz Man

That is an opinion. We actually have the words from God and the living word of God through the Spirit. So we have 2 reference points...enough to know the truth exactly. I think you should say...all I have is my opinion. but you could have a lot more than that if you didn't rely on an opinion.

    One True Church

All true. So where is the actual church of God? Do you have any insights into this? What, if any, conclusions have you drawn about this dilemma?

    The saints of Israel

This is of course gratuitous ...but then your understand of grace leads you to this. Gratuitous is related humanly to a flawed human understanding of grace. (they are related linguistically) God has a completely different kind of grace available...if you were at all interested.

    The saints of Israel

I sense a certain reaction from you. Are you saying that women are not Gentiles? Thanks for all the medical info BTW. :) So women don't count in your life? Do you have (had) a mother? A wife? Any daughters? Human beings are made up of BOTH male and female...and Israel is made up of BOTH men AND...

    The saints of Israel

Palestine was named such by the British as a slight to the Jews. Palestine means Philistine. Good old British colonialism...

    The saints of Israel

Are you going to stop trying to interpret the bible with the carnal mind? Grafting in means adoption into Israel. Why do you put ethnicity above God?

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Of course He already descended once in the flesh. But i was saying...coming BACK again.

    The saints of Israel

You are trying to understand spiritual and eternal things with a carnal grasp on how people name things. The modern country called" Israel" was not named by God but by secular human nationalists. It should really be called Judea...as in the time of Jesus. Even the orthodox Jews reject naming...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

And just to add...Jericho was indeed built up again...at the cost of Hiel's firstborn son. I think this is a reminder of the cost of building up the flesh again after it's edifice has been torn down. It cost God His Son to tear us away from our fleshly power. And if we build again on our old...

    The saints of Israel

Well...Israel did cease to be a nation. And God has rejected the national aspirations of the Jewish people...which do NOT coincide with God's will. And if you were careful, you would see how many Gentiles are in the lineage of king David...and by extension...Jesus. God can graft in whom He...

    It left me thinking......

Actually, dialectic is not a big word...it is an accurate word. More accurate than say...duh! :)

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

It isn't constructive to argue the spiritual over the physical. BOTH are true. Both are realized in Christ who is both God and man. There is the physical logos...we can read with carnal eyes. But there is also the spiritual rhema we hear with spiritual ears. These speak to the body and blood of...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

We know that the promised land is our access to the kingdom of God in the spiritual realm. And Joshua represents "Christ in us"...the one within us working with the Father. Josh. 10:5 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the...

    The Jazz Man

What you are experiencing is the double experience of good and evil. Everything is mixed in. We can't go long before something goes sour...or vice versa...things get better. Now that is a constant in life. But how you take it depends on your attitude. You can yo you with the world...or steer...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

As long as it is understood that the most bitter enemy we will ever face is ourselves. We wander in the wilderness until we are ready to be fully crucified. Jericho represents the breaking down of the outer man. The small remnant that survives is what God builds with. (Rahab is an ancestor of...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

In a great house there are vessels of honour and vessels of dishonour. Not everyone that says Lord Lord...is fit for the kingdom. But then again the saved are not cast into the lake of fire to be destroyed. So then banishment is the destiny of they who ofend God and the truth. For more of a...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

The name Rahab I: Summary Meaning Wide, Spacious Etymology From the verb רחב (rahab), to be wide or spacious. God wants to increase the inner man...to make us prosperous from within. He takes us to a place of growth...a wide place. A place where there are no limits on what we can become in Him...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

Now what of the scarlet cord that the spies were let down the walls from...and also serving as a sign of salvation for all who were in that house? This is akin to the Passover lamb...whereby the judgment of God passed over they who were covered by the blood. So then the scarlet (crimson) cord...

Jericho: The taking down of the Outer Man

Once God destroyed the walls of Jericho there was a curse put on whoever would rebuild it's walls. We see this in... Gal. 2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. Joshua 6:26 26 And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before...
