Do you think I would do such a thing, CL? I'm suggesting that what was finished might not be what some people think was finished. The resurrection was necessary to complete the death to sin - new life in Christ motif. So it must have been something besides general atonement that was finished...

Sorry. :)

But they made a profession. Will they not then be judged as believers? :)

You want to ignore me because you gave a non-answer to a question? "People like me?" Stop spouting speculation and rationalization and I'll stop calling you on it.

Very nice dodge

"I and My Father are one." (John 10:30) What meaneth this? How readest thou?

We are made in His image--not He in ours.

He most certainly did. Not in the example in question The ten commandments have not changed, nor are they obsolete. We're still here. Absolute baloney speculation

Then why did He say "It is finished" before He died? Whatever was finished was finished before the resurrection. More stuff that isn't in the Bible. Speculation. Nonsense. Why would unbelievers want to obey the law of God? And who are you to judge unbelievers?

I keep forgetting to put you on ignore.

Where in the Bible does it say that commandments that required stoning are no longer enjoined upon believers? And, by the way, Who do you think gave Moses the commandments? Zeus?

One God. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Redeemed by the blood, but judged by works. You know the Bible states it plainly.

Self-contradictory

I wasn't dealing with the doctrine at all. I was addressing the question of accuracy. Try to keep up.

Absolute nonsense

Don't be ridiculous. I have no burden to provide a number to support a doctrine which I believe is false. Anyone can use the number 613 all they like, if they're satisfied with using an INACCURATE number. How presumptuous can you get? The only commands we have to deal with are the ones that are...
