    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

    Yes, I have a Savior.

    King James Version Only...?

Doesn't this seem like awfully desperate language? What's the urgency?

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

It's a lot to answer and having worked for 30 years at a job that placed inordinate demands upon my mental faculties, I now suffer from frequent bouts of very low attention span, but I'll do the best I can for a someone who has been so friendly toward me. It seems that our histories are very...

    King James Version Only...?

We don't have the earliest, only earlier than previously thought earliest.

    King James Version Only...?

By talking about someone else's claim?

    King James Version Only...?

I'm not interested in trading insults. I called one idea silly and a group of claims legitimate. There is no discrepancy. The only agenda I have is the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:12)

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Yes, but I do not grant that the ten commandments are exclusive to the old covenant, or separate from the two great commandments in any way. You are certainly entitled to your belief. :)

    King James Version Only...?

So you honestly believe that God is allowing His children to be deprived of a knowledge of Him because of these technicalities, as legitimate as they may be? Talk about silly...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Because his "opinion" affirms the apostle's statement in Romans 2:13. No kidding I've already vehemently affirmed that salvation cannot be "worked for." More preaching to the choir. Except the last 5 words which could indicate "all-or-nothing" thinking which, if indulged extensively, can...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I and my Father are one. (John 10:30)

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Because the rest of them were only meant to be useful until their Antitype came. The Sabbath commandment repeated in Leviticus 23 does not reduce it to a merely ceremonial type of Christ. Putting a temporary, liturgical element in the midst of an eternal moral code is a dirty trick that a just...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

    Absolutely not.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

That's actually true, but He is literally infinitely more than that and to hint at pigeon-holing Him as such is infinitely inadequate and therefore insulting and possibly blasphemous. IOW I agree with you in principle. I would just add "merely" before "a get out of jail free card."

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

The idea that grace is a loophole borders on the abominable. I think I'm being charitable here.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I'll pass on gracious lawlessness. Law-keeping merits nothing toward redemption. Zilch. And yet Paul says that only the doers of the law shall be justified (Romans 2:13). As CD Brooks used to preach: "Good works won't get you into Heaven but you ain't gettin' there without 'em!"

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Summarized, yes. And outlined in the TEN.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

AMEN. Precisely my point. But then even those who take the time to reconcile pick and choose their definition of "law," "commandment," "statute," etc. And they interpret "better than" as meaning "opposed to." The book of Hebrews is especially wielded as a club to abrogate the law of God, while...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Were it not for the law, you wouldn't even have the term "stiff-necked" to resort to. The original stiff-necked people were law-breakers, not legalist zealots. How unfortunate for you. Which you determine, of course. God begs to differ: The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul...
