Ummm, guys, it was Edward Gordon who first brought up astral travel, using that term and claiming it as a legitimate Christian practise. When challenged, also legitimately, he has backed down and is suggesting a misunderstanding of terms. It's like someone boasting of having taken someone's...

Roast in the snow north, BBQ and salad on the beach in the sun down south. . Two extremes... Could be interesting.

Can't get over that Aussies eat their national emblem.

Thanks @Hidden In Him for that info. Excellent. I had been a Christian for about 5 years when I met a new young guy who started work with me. He was from Wellington, I was living in a small city, Napier, NZ. I began witnessing to him, telling him about Jesus and explaining the gospel. He was...

Oh. And because of the nature of this thread I am NOT suggesting any recipe that would include the above. If this were an Asian web site however... Just sayin'

Coaxed this fella out from under the car seat after it fell from the sun visor in the car.

Using foil in cooking is never good because it leeches metals into the food. Traditional island methods is to use banana or taro leaves.

Good health comes from good blood. The life is in the blood. Healthy blood means not just a healthy body, but a healthy mind. They are intimately related. So a sound diet affects the whole person. Even our spirituality.

That's fairly obvious don't you think? One cannot fall away from apostasy, but rather into apostasy. That word used for falling away means divorce. One cannot divorce unless first there is a genuine relationship. Before Pergamos became the subject of John's letter to the church there in the...

I was once asked by a forum moderator, not this forum, “Do you believe that ‘the man of sin’ is an actual person or just figurative of a type of people?” The above is an interesting question. There is much debate over whether the Antichrist is an individual, as it is propagated in futurist...

Have you ever considered that the "falling away" referred to the establishment of the Papacy beginning in the 4th century, which revealed the true Antichrist, the one sitting in the temple of God, the church, proclaiming himself to be God by taking upon Himself the prerogatives of God in...

Catholicism does not believe in the blood Atonement. They believe the merits of Christ's life, not death, is their Salvation. And they add to that the merits of Mary, Joseph (not so much, less meritorious I suppose), and thousands of saints. All those merits deposited into the Vatican bank and...

Never mind. One day you'll get it.

I agree with the first part... Through studying scriptures from a child, His Father revealed to Him Who He was. Jesus did indeed discover Himself and His identity through the OT. But you are missing the fact that after His resurrection, He demonstrated the model by which we are to discover...

You have thrown out the entire old testament of scripture, and much of the new, so I'm not going to bother explaining my premise...there is a thread elsewhere discussing it. Thing is this. You have thrown aside that which Jesus Himself said was the authority and foundation of His ministry, that...

Haha, that's what my daughter called me today. And it's becoming a familial habit, even my grandkids are taking it up knowing I can't outrun them anymore lol.

I love the vegetable tempura pancakes you can get from the sushi shops. I could eat 2 or 3 every day.

I began my interest in prophecy in the latish 70s after reading Hal Lindsay's book, The Late Great Planet Earth, and a few others that generally agreed with that futurist viewpoint, and totally believed that Jesus would return n my lifetime. Possibly, I thought at the time as did Lindsay, before...
