In a scenario such as I have suggested, all of the usual xenophobic concerns would evaporate overnight.

There were very strict blue laws in Oklahoma when I was stationed there in the Air Force in 1983. However, I am contemplating a possible end-time scenario with totally different circumstances. State and local blue laws in the U.S. are as old as the constitution itself, I believe. :)
