The same ground rules that applied to the people of God in order for them to discern between truth and error, are still valid as much today as they were before Jesus. "To the law and to the testimony. If they speak not according to this word, there is no light in them". If your life isn't in...

Mmmm. I'm not sure what to make of that. I see scripture clearly indicating devastation of the earth at Jesus soon coming. While the planet itself will remain, I see everything on it destroyed, and becoming lifeless until the end of the millennium. But hey, that's a long way from weather huh...

As simply as possible, can you please give your definition of sin, and explain what you mean by this.... Jesus was not, nor is, an attribute of God. He was the only begotten Son who came to this earth, clothing His divinity with humanity, never ceasing to be God Himself in the person of His...

Have you noticed that the covenant God made there, was with every living creature, even the animals and birds? Which means that with that particular covenant, unlike all the others, it doesn't require faith in order for the covenant to be kept. The rainbow is the sign of His faithfulness.

Continuing..... When Luther wrote his book, To the German Nobility, his friends, fearing for his safety, asked him to suppress it. To this request Luther replied: “We here are of the conviction that the Papacy is the seat of the true Antichrist. . . . personally I declare that I owe to the Pope...

The modern controversy that exists between the various hermeneutical methods of prophetic interpretation, those being preterist, historicist, and futurist, goes deeper than simply being ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ regards understanding prophecy. What we teach has far greater impact than we can possibly...

The challenges we face every day lately find me asking, why am I still a Christian? Why, after over 40 years, do I still reject the ways of the world with even more passion than I did at the first? Why do I still believe? Last week I was talking to a young girl about driving. She told me she was...

I'm with Jane on this, that the Almighty God did not come Himself, leaving heaven empty. The Father remained on His throne (not necessarily physically but in overrule power and authority and sovereignty over the universe) at all times throughout the incarnation. He did not vacate heaven to walk...

KJV Revelation 14:6-12 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his...

While I certainly agree with the above, I think we tend toward compromising our faith by partaking of things which, while they may not be perceived as openly rebellious, are still of the world and therefore devoid of the Spirit of God. In such cases we tend to mix the holy with the profane. We...

He who had been in the presence of the Father from the beginning, He who was the express image of the invisible God, was alone able to reveal the character of the Deity to mankind. This was the reason why the ‘begotten concept’ is so important. Christ...

Temperance, self sacrifice, self denial. That's what the practise of the children of God ought to be. The world is lost in a see of self indulgence. Pleasure and the satisfying of lustful passions are the way of the world. We are called to be different. To be a light. To separate ourselves from...

Hey John. I love that scripture. I had been a Christian for about 10 years then fell away. I wasn't at that time the Bible student I am today. I would read the scriptures from time to time, but not as study. I fell away from God, from fellowship, from the Christian way of life for about 5 years...

Equal in all things except rank. KJV Hebrews 1:1-3 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being...

Every point? Wow. Okay. Nothing much left to say then huh.

That's a mighty long reply, touching on matters I wasn't addressing, and I have no intention of replying to ever point you made, I will say this. First, I am not advocating a belief in the trinity as taught in the creeds and accepted in most churches. So your protestations on that account are...

Amigo has done nothing but uplift the scriptures... The Bible. He has warmed everyone, and encouraged everyone, regardless of denomination or non denominational leanings, that trusting in any other Jesus than the Jesus of the Bible is vanity... Just as the apostles taught. No, it isn't enough...

Creator, and therefore the Boss.

For what reasons did the reformers risk life and limb, (literally), in their damning accusations against the church which raised them? Nearly all the reformers were priests, with no intentions of forming new churches, but reforming the one they loved and held dear. Yet what have impetus to the...

The only basis for JWs to cling to their low view of Christ is Revelation 14. The language, beginning of the creation of God can be understood otherwise than JWs would have it. That Christ is purported to be a created being other than begotten, denies many other scriptures regarding Him being...
