Here is what I see. The millennium is the thousand-year reign of Christ with His saints in heaven between the first and second resurrections. During this time the wicked dead will be judged; the earth will be utterly desolate, without living human inhabitants, but occupied by Satan and his...

What that means of course is that being a diuretic that takes water from the body, you have to drink more coffee to make up for that which it removes. I got work out trekking to the bathroom every 2 hours.

Agree with the above, except I'm not sure where you would place Christians prior to this event. In heaven... In some other place... Or actually still in the graves?

Take care, don't write off what you don't understand. You are making the same mistake as those who don't agree with annihilation. You are throwing out truth without recourse to serious consideration. KJV Revelation 21:1-3 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the...

Thank you my friend. Despite what I feel like however, I am determined to stay away from coffee.

I've said this before, and I'll keep saying it. Anyone who believes the God of the Bible is such that He willingly and purposefully keeps billions and billions of people alive in the midst of fire in order that they suffer interminably forever without end and without rest, does not know God as...

If you are still in the image of God then I guess you don't need Christ then.

You tagged me 127 posts in to the 145 I had decided not to read. I don't know about you, but I smell a conspiracy.

I don't know about you, but I feel like a creamy rich aromatic cappuccino Brazilian with the pretty fernleaf design in cream on top with sprinkles of chocolate around about in a mug especially designed for my fat fingers and made lovingly by an experienced barista ... The trouble is I gave up...

Which nature Jesus had. Otherwise He couldn't have been tempted on all points such as we were.

Might I suggest that because Abraham believed God, as the word says, and the result was a fulfillment of promise, that the same can be said for any and all of us who believe. You said that the word says Christ takes away our sins. How many of us actually believe that sufficiently that it becomes...

Hi SbG. Ellen White has written about 20 books, while the church has put together at least a couple of dozen others drawing from her writings from the many manuscripts, letters, articles from magazines, sermons, and counsels over the 60 odd years of her ministry. So no, I don't know which one...

Mmm yeah, nah. Not convinced.

Hey @Naomi25 , lovely to see you again... Been too long. Hope all is well. I have posted previously similar thoughts to your own, and I didn't read past the first page assuming it would go in the same direction as others on this topic... Basically because very few were actually 'listening' to...

Curiously, @marks and @1stCenturyLady , the Bible actually agrees with both of you. 1CL says perfection in that passage means moral perfection and obedience to God's commandments (free from sin), and Marks says it's all about love. You are both correct. We know that if we go directly to the...

I quoted it earlier... KJV Genesis 5:3 3 And Adam ... begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: And after 6000 of increasing moral degeneracy, today's generation is so far further removed from the image of God than was Seth as to be virtually indistinguishable...

Mmm. If he was covered in tattoos, had earrings, and smoked cigarettes and enjoyed the odd beer and was a member of a Christian rock band that would make his book more acceptable?

I've been an Adventist for since 1997. A Christian since 1976. But not once have I sacrificed a cow since being an Adventist. I did sacrifice a few, and a sheep and a pig once before I was an Adventist. The extended family always loved those barbecues and and even the odd hangi. (Look it up). So...
