Praying for them!

As I guess you do not remember, I do not follow the Bible alone! I follow the Word of God.

Was not @Truman simply saying what Jesus said? ""Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Matt 6:34

"I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:2-3 Or... "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This...

Amen! Sometimes people stop trusting God because they want to insist that He fix the here and now in the way that they believe that He should. When He does not do it, they leave Him completely. They fail to understand God's purposes and therefore His will for them... for all of us.

Some people are strongly into the rapture or the OSAS, I believe, because it takes some of the pressure off... at least in their minds. I am not speaking especially against those two things, for some people may really sincerely believe that way and trust God that way. Too many people...

God bless you dear sister for sharing this. Long ago and far away when my wife and were new converts to the Lord it soon came to that first congregation's attention that my wife had many health problems. At first they would just pray and be quiet, but as the months and years went by and she...

I do believe that a whole lot of such "wishful thinking" occurs among those who say they are believers.

Over the many years on this forum and the other forums where we have both been, I have greatly appreciate the Spirit of your posts. Thank you for being a good sister in Christ!

And do you believe then about these verses with regard to liars? "I said in my haste, All men are liars." Psalm 116:11 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged" Rom 3:4

4 negatives and 3 positives for me. God really did make variety of people. How could anyone but Him possibly render a fair and accurate judgement in each and every case?

Amen!

I believe what I believe. God is correct. I will change my answer for Him when and if He advises me to do so. That is at the moment the only answer you will receive from me. Have a very good day and give God the glory!

I will not so limit the Interpreter to speaking in tongues.

I responded to your one post with scriptures for consideration... yours! If you do not want or need to consider them further that is your choice. Yes, I am capable of discussing things but I don't even try to discuss every point with everybody. People's signatures do not show up on my...

So then God is now a respecter of persons? So now all believers have already overcome all of their temptations and no longer sin? So then no man is able to quench the Spirit of God within himself and sin? I do disagree with you, but only God gives any increase that ultimately really matter...

Are you wanting to argue? Why? I only quoted some verses for your consideration. Draw any conclusions you wish. The "big picture" is not mine but God's. He has given me a vision of it is still as through a glass darkly. I am seeking His kingdom and His righteousness today. I am leaving tomorrow...

I am certainly fallible, but please do not presume to know my heart! I am really sorry you did not like my answer.
