Oh my goodness. Another nerd.o_O

@Heart2Soul @devin553344 Did you know that I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what you two are talking about?

Why not? But before you answer, what law?

I have some early memories, and remember my first home as well as if I still live there. I did live there from a baby till I was 17, so, there's that. But I remember 2 major events but have no idea how old I was...a new carpet arriving for the living room. I remember it was a birthday or...

Because you are correct... It is futile to seek righteousness through the law. But is the seeking for righteousness elsewhere a bad thing, (remember KJV Matthew 6:33 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.) and are there...

Yep, all that is absolutely true. It's scripture. But does that in any way nullify the law, and make the obligation to obey God's Commandments any the less imperative?

There is sanity with some here my friend, but yeah, things are pretty crazy right now... Here is one of the good guys...a QANTAS pilot of long standing who resigned rather than get jab now has a great following around the world, has some real good common sense to share and a Christian as well...

You are however perhaps unconsciously supporting the idea that only a part of Jesus died by the erroneous concept of man's natural immortality and that in death man is still alive somewhere. You get one concept of scripture wrong and other errors follow in their train.

I will speak of this in a separate post as I promised previously, but would like you to consider KJV Hebrews 11:8-10 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he...

Because God's promises to the nation of Israel were conditional.

Yes, I am aware of that. But what you are saying, that only the body of Jesus died, only His human part, then all we have is a human sacrifice. I believe a better understanding of the nature of Jesus, both human and divine, will afford us a far greater appreciation for the sacrifice, and the...

KJV Hosea 6:1-3 1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the...

Then according to you all we had was a human sacrifice, therefore you are not redeemed.

Did you know there was a bloke in NZ who died of gunshot wounds recently and was officially designated as a death from covid? Seriously. Despite objections from many quarters, that classification will continue until the police investigation is completed.

I would only add to the confusion as most would reject my perspective, regardless how 'true' it might be. Better that people study such things for themselves leaving behind their preconceived ideas.

Maybe. The long standing (centuries) technique for the manipulation of society has been to create confusion and conflict. Promulgate two opposing views, the thesis and antithesis, to create a synthesis. The Jesuits are masters at this. I don't trust anything that comes from Catholic sources.

The confusion sown on these threads about law, grace, obedience and faitht reflects the shallowness of understanding of scripture and the unwillingness of the church to present herself holy and without blemish.

Here we go again. Round and round the lawberry bush. One says no-one obeys the law, but fails to mention which law. Another says if someone doesn't commit adultery, steal, lie, or murder, they are obeying those laws. Then a third chimes in and says you must obey the whole law of Moses to be...

I think that's a great idea. I did the same thing last holidays. Asked the locals here in Oz what they do to entertain themselves over Christmas. Barbecue. Play cricket. Go surfing. Hike through the forests. Play with crocodiles. Shoot abos.

I think the central Americans have beaten the Chinese by a country mile. And the government has welcomed them with open arms. And nary a shot fired.
