I thought that what I wrote was quite clear. Read it again, and whatever you can't understand, let me know. The begotten Son of God can only be God. Just as the children begotten by me can only be human.

The time is coming when the cities will be too dangerous in which to live. You've had a taste with riots etc not that long ago, and that was in a nation wherein the majority still cherish law and order. What will become of society when Satan takes full control and demons walk the streets in open...

While I agree with you regarding the Trinity doctrine as portrayed in the creeds and many church manuals, I cannot agree with you regarding the Son. I have read 1 John numerous times. No where is there any hint that the relationship between Jesus and the Father is anything other than real. The...

Jesus died the death we must eventually die, the second death...a death without hope and without a resurrection. Jesus died alone, the Father having to turn away from His own Son in order to fulfill the law. But Jesus did still die with faith... Not in hope because burdened as He was with sin...

I also reject the natural immortality of the soul, and eternal torment. I prefer to think we are being saved for something, not from something, although of course both apply. Thanks for your replies... Well said

I used to live not far from you.... 10ks out of Putaruru toward Arapuni. I went to church in Tirau. I was invited by neighbours to a series of Bible studies based on the book from (struggling now to remember the name of it...and its author...give me a minute...)okay, The Purpose Driven Life by...

So what then do you see as your responsibility, it your personal priority when considering these issues?

All the more reason why the church ought not to be having any involvement in politics... Regardless the party involved.

About everything? Do any of us agree 100% in every matter of theology, eschatology, and will those differences have any direct impact on our destiny? What is it by which we are saved... Our correct theology or the blood of the Lamb? Don't misunderstand me though, I think correct theology is...

Likely because not so many would admit to it. A professor in a university isn't likely to confess his skills and stymie any future career prospects would he lol

Great testimony to the grace of God. On another note, do we need to take extra care in reading your posts, guarding against any NLP residue?;)

So you're saying that because no-one listened to him, and because no-one even knew about him for so long, this counts against him despite the fact he was a preacher of righteousness for 120 years? And even though the ark is a type of Christ, the sacrifices Noah and his ancestors and his...

Nuclear today is far safer than it was 10 years ago, let alone 30. But there is that waste issue. Never heard of thorium. There is likely to be a great deal of technology around that is renewable, safe, and cheap. But that's the trouble eh. Cheap. No profits in cheap.

I'm interested in how Christians here are responding, and what you see is your first priority during these times when the world is confused and fearful at what is taking place.

It was mentioned previously about the serpent on a pole. And the reminder the pole had become an object of worship, in disregard of the actual message which was inherent in the lesson... God's saving grace. We are in a valley now and the serpent's are biting us. Lockdowns... Political strife...

In order to fulfill the purposes of God, Rome in that moment became a servant to the Jewish religious hierarchy. This will be repeated in these last days as the church takes over the political power and begins to persecute so called "heretics", just as papal Rome did in the 6 th century.

The tragic irony of life is that we can expect I believe, particularly in these last days, to be betrayed by our nearest and dearest. As with Cain and Abel, I believe the final battle will not be between unbelievers and the church... Or between gentiles and Israel, as many false prophets...

KJV Zechariah 13:6 6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

Why not Noah?

Jesus voluntarily placed Himself as our High Priest and Sacrificial Lamb. Yes, He laid down His life but He didn't kill Himself. He "gave up the ghost, and died". Others were to a point culpable. Paul and Stephen correctly called the Jews murderers. The Romans themselves "knew not what they were...
