"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

Fluffy started a thread which I believe is somewhat related to this. There's a sense of unease and a sense of coming trouble in society that I believe will make the BLM riots in America pale. I firmly believe this uneasiness is God trying to wake up His people. Western society has been at ease...

    Is anyone else feeling uncomfortable?

@FluffyYellowDuck For the last 2 years since covid made it's global debut, I have felt that uneasiness. Not because of covid itself, but for two things that far outweigh the actual pandemic itself. First, was the grasping of power by governments at both state and national level. The level of...

    Is anyone else feeling uncomfortable?

It isn't about attacking a denomination. It's about exposing the real Antichrist.

I'm appealing to all of you,

Argumentative? Throughout this thread you have listed what you perceive as faults and have generally attributed them to every church, suggesting denominations and/it churches are all guilty of "all the above". I'm simply testifying that in my personal experience that such is not the case.

Is Freemasonry compatible with Christian truth?

@theefaith I agree that Christians...aka the 'church'... vicariously takes the place of God in a certain sense in providing spiritual leadership (as the husband for example is to be the priest of his home), and also to provide for the physical needs of others, such as repeated throughout...

Fatima prophecy coming to fruition before our very eyes

And then of course there's the evidence of Catholic collusion in the Russian revolution in revenge against the Orthodox church. Just sayin'.

Fatima prophecy coming to fruition before our very eyes

These are Catholic deceptions. The Bible says absolutely nothing about atheism ruling the world. Revelation details 3 powers, the beast, false prophet, and the dragon, who together preside over the establishment of a global religion that deceives the entire planet to worship. Atheists don't worship.

    Why Do You Believe....

“Contrary to popular Christian opinion, atheism is not the worst thing in the world. Bad religion is. The reason is obvious: many people in our world either serve God as fear-driven slaves or hate God as if He were a cruel monster, in both cases due to the way false religion has misrepresented...

Is Freemasonry compatible with Christian truth?

Claimed? You doubt that? Why? Shouldn't the church expect and the scriptures promised that very thing for the last days church?

    Why Do You Believe....

I disagree. Some prophecies are incredibly specific, but there is a spiritual power determined that none should understand them, and view them correctly. Error, human reasoning, imagination, and deception all play a role in the current confusion. But over 20 years ago I found a sound definitive...

Have any of you considered leaving the United States?

My response was to your statement, quote, Christians have a mandate from Jesus himself to inhabit ungodly places, in that I was actually thinking of cities. I believe nearly all large cities are evil places yes, despite the truth that within the cities there are some good people. Is the US an...

A Closer Look at the Genesis Creation Account

They fail to realize that nearly every major doctrine of Christianity finds it's foundation in Genesis. But the idea that God established the entire existence of life predicated on death and experimental evolutionary processes... Theistic evolution... Whereby death was a necessary adjunct to...

Is Freemasonry compatible with Christian truth?

That Professor Veith would be ignorant of what Mrs White's tombstone was considering the stupid accusations over the years regarding it, is akin to stabbing in the dark hoping to find a target. It is true that her tombstone is an Obelisk, but The Association of Gravestone Studies says that the...

Is Freemasonry compatible with Christian truth?

Yeah, I know. Most don't want links to videos and lectures, because they have adapted themselves to short time spans and cannot beast the weight of deeper listening. But regardless, here's a lecture from a professor and an expert in secret societies having himself been involved in Freemasonry...

    Why Do You Believe....

It doesn't take much to explain the 70 weeks.... Where they started... Where they finished... And the waypoint at the 62 week mark. An explanation of history and the application to the scripture.

And it is the focus for many discussions on every forum you could visit. And prophecy can be affirming for the Christian, but there are numerous different view points on what events, if any, the prophecies apply to. So with the variety of opinion available, prophecy may not be so affirming or...

    Why Do You Believe....

What we sometimes lose sight of is the fact that when we don't believe what God says, we are accusing Him of lying.

Have any of you considered leaving the United States?

We don't need to inhabit evil places. In fact we shouldn't. We may visit in order to share the gospel, but living in dangerous and wicked cities becomes a temptation to partake of the same evil. Like Lot's family. He had to be dragged out, lost his wife, and his progeny was affected for generations.

Are you part of the elect?

Is a life-long sinner part of the elect? Aren't the elect called to turn away from all sin?
