Thank you for quietening my spirit with your words lforrest. Well said. I have an unction, a revelation from God that I am taking care of his tent while he drifts in and out. I recognize by the Spirit, when he is at home and when he is not. I am so interested in this area...and I do believe...

If you really want to understand this verse, you really need to stop using the KJV and try something a little more user friendly. Bless ya!

hey daq, I believe I may have found the answer in your reply...in a roundabout way! ;) Thank you. John S. I don't think that killing him or assisting in suicide is the real answer since the Lord is the giver and taker of life. Why though, does he not just take them home after their "tour of...

I am a little sad... I was chatting to a lovely elderly Christian gentleman in hospital today. He does not remember me but he has had a significant impact on my Christian walk. After spending 40 years in the mission field and being the first white missionary to Papua New Guinea, he had...

I recall having the same conversation with a JW on this subject. They believe as you do. I do not think that Father or our Lord would mind anyone calling them by their known names in our own language or dialect. It is also quite easy for those who have the Holy Spirit [the third person of the...

The answer is in the verse you have given...Gen 3:21. "knowing good and evil." They did not know evil prior to the fall as everything that God had made was good. They only knew what God told them....what had been missing for them, was the knowledge of evil. They were made in the image of God...

I had just made stir fry beef with "Uncle Bens" southern style rice... :)

I like what you have written to your pastor Suhar. I think it is very touching and heart felt.... With respect, may I ask...did he fall for another member of the worship team? I know how vulnerable one can be when in worship before the throne of God and how spiritually connected members...

It is clear that the serpent in the garden had moral sense otherwise God cursing him for his treachery would be purposeless... Is the serpent in the garden the same as other beasts of the field? can they speak today? Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called...

Jude 1 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear...

You're main points may get this thread locked...and I am hoping that it will not come to that  I have entered this discussion because it is borders on breaching forum rules see: denominational posts. Our main focus at CyB is centered around "Christ" and not denomination...

That is their doctrine/belief. They are entitled to their belief however, it does not change my status as been saved by grace through faith before the throne of God. In reality...no-one can make any thing black or white by decreeing it so. Only God has that privilege and he has already spoken...

Your usage of the word "gospel" has a different meaning to me. The gospel is the message of the cross which leads to salvation. Then there are various doctrines and beliefs held by different denominations/ Churches... These doctrines and beliefs, stem from theological view-points which have...
