I cannot remember having the flu for over 20 years. If I start getting sniffles or a cough, I'm over it within 2 days. God has blessed me with exceptional health. I have a strong immune system. I'm not concerned about getting sick with COVID. I don't believe the vaccines are entirely useful...

Actually that has been done before, numerous times, even in this very thread personally in response to Mungo, which he chose to ignore (although I suspect he has me "on ignore" which doesn't help in communication but it is what it is) and Catholics continue to believe their traditions are more...

@Mungo , like all Catholics, accept traditions that are not only not found in scripture, but contradict scripture. Therefore according to Isaiah 8:20, there is no light in him.

If that were true I wouldn't have had anything to quote.

And I think that is so very important. If someone does believe in a dangerous error... Dangerous to him and others who may embrace it, it is far better to discuss and offer scriptural evidence of the truth and thus refuting the error, rather than just shelving him. Cancel culture is not...

Had to see for myself, and sure enough, guilty. Apologies.

Does free speech play a role in expressing one's beliefs? I could quite readily argue that two out of those four statements in the screenshot that are touted as unarguable absolute truths cannot be proved from scripture.

Some food scientists cannot bring themselves to classify bacon as food. God never classified swine flesh, or shellfish, or birds and beasts of prey, as food. We read throughout scripture references to unclean animals, but I challenge anyone to find a reference in scripture to unclean food, and...

@An Apologetic Sheepdog @APAK We can all agree that 'cannon fodder' is neither hyperbole or out of fashion. I haven't read extensively on the topic of war, but what I have read has been deeply disturbing. I have never, praise God, been called to serve, but I have immense sympathy for those who...

There are parallels, and there are types and antitypes. There is nothing new under the sun. But many do tend to get carried away, taking passages into extremes, calling it 'spiritual', but in effect devaluing the texts themselves until their real meaning is lost.

Seems to me that mankind is stumbling around in the dark with regards covid and numerous other diseases for the precise reason being displayed in this thread. A complete disregard for the Manufacturers instructions. You would all think I'm totally crazy for putting diesel in the petrol tank in...

Lovely song zig. So hard to find Christian music that doesn't sound like every rock and roll song since KJV Daniel 3:7 7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the...

I shall humbly accede to your obviously more vast experience and first hand knowledge.

They see your nation as the great Satan because you behave just like him. And America views Islam as the great Satan because they also behave just like him but in different ways. Both of you are right. And you were politically and religiously set up that way... To create conflict in order to...

The spiritual restoration of which the work carried forward in Nehemiah's day was a symbol, is outlined in the words of Isaiah: “They shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities.” “They that shall be of thee shall build the old...

Yes. Try wearing a bikini through Kabul. Try promoting gender fluidity in Riyadh. Try streaming 18 and over movies on the hotel internet in Tehran. Try advertising revealing lingerie on Baghdad television. Try promoting gay rights in Cairo. Now sure, they have some very skewed ideas about...
