Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

Okay... I have not been following along on all the comments and follow up here, but have just reviewed...and I should clarify. The Original Post did not offend biblically. It did offend some--which is fine, admirable even, that some would so defend these thousands of years of history regarding...

Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

Let me first say...that your reverence toward God...is also good. But here it is even you putting that limit on God. I explained in the simplest biblical terms defining the issue by the command of God, and you disregard it and all that the scriptures say about this problem from righteous Job...

What is meant by Christ coming to "each in his own order."

No...look up the words in the original language--that is exactly what "each" means. I added nothing. But, yes, there are two "categories" or groups, (I said it, and now you have said it). Yet, "each in his own" stipulates just how Christ comes to each group "individually" or personally. All...

Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

You are missing the point. The point is...there is not only a great potential for limiting God in the words "God, love, creator", when He is actually unlimited--that many make those names a limit all the time. It is in fact such a great problem that God has even made it one of the commandments...

Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

Nothing I have written is "anti-biblical." That is slander. Since you think what I wrote is anti-biblical--name one thing, and I will show you it is not.

What is meant by Christ coming to "each in his own order."

Yes, it does seem simpler...that is why it is so commonly misunderstood. But that does not mean that Paul was not correct in saying that it was "each" individually. That was his clarification because of confusion, that it is not as it may seem. But let's break it down. The misunderstanding that...

Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

Not really, although I am sure it is a part. I would just say that men are prone to think like men, and it results in all manner of discourse from what God has been about during these times, inching us forward toward "all truth", as it is with God.

    Who has the authority…

The key phrase in Peter's word to the church, was "among you"--the "enemies" (as you rightfully call them) "among you." Which would include "among" the church fathers who placed humble Peter upon a pedestal, not as body but as head, not insisting upon only what comes from the Father but...

    Who has the authority…

Good, that is a start. But do be careful, the physical is only an image--that image darkly.

Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

It is good, not because it is better or contrary to the scriptures, which I concur are perfect. But rather, it is good because it expresses the lowliness of how we think compared with the higher thoughts and greater infinite reality of God. More importantly, it is a start, a suggestion to begin...

    Who has the authority…

The apostles of Jesus did receive authority...but it was squandered just as Peter foretold: But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on...

    Who has the authority…

More evidence of the flesh advocating for the flesh. By definition, that simply shows the limit of your understanding.

    Who has the authority…

I don't have any questions of you. But I will say and have said, that you have misunderstood what Christ clarified as "the church"--there is no flesh and blood included in His church, but only what is born of the spirit of God. There is also no "succession", only commission...which men did, in...

    Who has the authority…

Looks like you have no intention of heeding the warning. That is personal, and up to you. So be it. My response was not open for discussion.

What is meant by Christ coming to "each in his own order."

It is not a question. Paul was explaining, as will I. The issue is when Christ comes (again). The quotes below are from another thread, so as not to highjack that other thread, but to pick up at that point and give an answer. Here is the passage where the apostle Paul explains: Now if Christ...

Calling God a creator is limiting God and time is an illusion

This is good. Most who are born into time see Time as reality, as if the realm of the clay is reality and "literal", rather than the realm of the Potter. From that perspective it is difficult to imagine that time is [only] created and passing away, as an "image", just as it was first...

    Who has the authority…

No--stop, and listen. Cease and desist. All of your lengthy response is of no credit to the church, but evidence against the church. What I have already told you and compared Israel to the church, is the truth. And just as Moses set before Israel, life and death, so has Christ also set before...

    Who has the authority…

No...that's like saying "Israel had the authority to interpret the law." The authority is given by God alone, most commonly to chosen individuals. In the case of Israel however, they killed those individuals. In the case of the church, God took the authority away from all men and gave it to...
