What if you lose your faith?

Exactly. Because they don't exist. Because Jesus never stated the OSAS unbiblical doctrine which may lead some astray. Paul never stated that one could NOT lose their salvation...but the opposite. I'll only post one verse of the many that exist: 1 Timothy 4:1 Paul stated that in later times...

What if you lose your faith?

Why do you start these threads if you don't care for the "piler uppers"? OSAS is a deceptive doctrine made up fifteen hundred years after Jesus ascended to heaven. Jesus never mentioned this idea. Paul never mentioned this idea.

What if you lose your faith?

Instead of making a comment, how about posting some verses OR even better... How about answering my question as to how to reconcile the following verses with YOUR own personal belief system? Here they are again from post 814: The NT teaches that salvation can be forfeited. I posted some...

@Jack might be of the reformed faith. They believe,God created evil and actually CAUSES all evil to happen, incl natural disasters, sickness, moral evil, murders, etc. How this is reconciled with Jesus' revelation of a loving God is a mystery to me.

What if you lose your faith?

They ENDURE FOR A WHILE. Instead we must endure to the end. Luke 8:13 13“Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away. Same parable, same group of persons. They...

What if you lose your faith?

So there's a root and a true root? A believer and a true believer? Must leave for a while...

What if you lose your faith?

Gosh. This is just too much... I think some don't see the IF in both verses...

What is the purpose of : Evil

I agree with most of what you've said. Although it does not answer the question of why Adam sinned if sin h ad not entered yet. No matter...actually there is no answer. But what would a fake bible be, for instance? I have a few versions here and they seem to say the same thing. Maybe if this...

What if you lose your faith?

Of course anyone that wants to be saved will be saved. Where does it state he can never become lost again??? Back up your words with scripture just like I do.

What if you lose your faith?

I said this. I said everything Paul wrote syncs with what Jesus taught. Don't go off-topic... Please, one of you OSASers find a few verses that state simply that once a person is saved, he can never lose his salvation no matter what. Which is what YOU and others are stating and which is not...

What if you lose your faith?

Dropship What I'm looking for in the NT is any verse or verses would be better since a doctrine cannot be built on only one verse, that states that a person is saved one time and then can never lose their salvation. There is no such verse because this concept of OSAS does not exist and did not...

What if you lose your faith?

What does Romans 14:23 mean? It simply means that if we do anything we do not believe is right, then for us it is sin. Verse 20 and 21 speak of not making another person stumble. It states we should not eat something if it makes another person stumble. Imagine telling persons they can't lose...

What if you lose your faith?

The above is not true. God does not accept only His own work to accept anyone. The verses I posted who that we also must do good works, and yes, to keep our salvation. Good works are a sign of salvation, no good works - no salvation. We are God's hands and feet on this earth. Jesus set up His...

Evil DOES NOT MEAN PAIN. Why do we make up our very own definitions? EVIL in the bible, which you do not discount, means anything bad. The following is a good description of evil... which can be moral, or physical. What is the definition of evil? | GotQuestions.org

What if you lose your faith?

Well Behold You can't provide me with scripture so you go on a personal rant. I believe you don't have children. So what do you know? And if you do, they're young. Let's wait 20 or 30 years and see how you think then. We're human. There's no such animal as unconditional love. And please stop...

What if you lose your faith?

All that COME TO ME...SHALL NEVER PERISH NOT All that depart from me. Waiting on some scripture.. That says we cannot fall away from our faith.

What if you lose your faith?

Are you going to tell me that I'M SINNING by doing good works? Is this what the Christian faith is coming to? No wonder we're a dying breed.

I didn't say you should. But do you believe God created evil?

Agreed. Another poster, I THINK, is saying that Jesus is God Father. I would like him to clarify... I think he's saying that Yeshua is Yaweh. (both God but different "persons".)
