I love my owl. Focusing on the prize, so close but so...

I would very much like someone explain how they are managing to keep the spirit of the law... For example not lusting... While at the same time unable to keep the letter... which is physical adultery. Perhaps one can murder without hate and be guiltless because they were keeping the spirit of...

The essay you cited said that we are given creative power. We will not be angels. Angels are a completely different form of creation... We shall remain human forever... Just as Christ is also and shall remain so.

Okay. My understanding is a little clearer. You believe in the A pre-existence of humans B universalism C that men can evolve in the after life to be gods in their own right and therefore D have a certain dominion over other life forms or parts of creation according to their worthiness. E...

Can you tell me why not, without any assumptions? In other words, based on scripture alone.

Mmmm. I was told something similar by my wife's cousin who is Mormon. I just assumed it was a genuine belief among Mormons. Now I'm confused that Jane is saying it's wrong. I don't know who's wrong... Us or the Mormons themselves?

Misconceptions by Mormons themselves, or their enemies? What does the LDS church teach then regarding this inheriting or receiving ones own planet, what is the truth of that concept?

That said, Adventists are firm absolute believers in the divinity and deity of Jesus. Without apology, without understating. Nor do we nor are we willing to compromise that stand in any way, and our teaching regarding Michael doesn't do that.

That is on the assumption that the archangel is a created angel. We as Adventists do not find in scripture any evidence that Michael, the archangel, is a created being. We do not reduce the deity or divinity of Christ by affirming His identity as chief of the angels. It is a natural title, Lord...

I have read stuff related to that often. So where does this idea come from, do you know?

Remembering of course that the watering can is Christ Himself... The fountain of living water. So long as we uphold Christ, the church will grow.

And so you justify yourself and your church despite everything I've said here... I am not making up my own faith...I follow the faith as written in scripture... Inspired by the holy Spirit. A faith that is in God's word and not the word of man. If you can tell me how my faith is wrong by...

And I am accountable to Christ and not the Pope. So why does the pope usurp Christ's authority to judge?

I started my life as Catholic, educated in Catholic schools, and after receiving Christ and being born again at age 23 after having not been to church since leaving high school, I went back to the Catholic Church to attend mass. I told the priest there of my recent experience and he didn't want...

For those who are considering the vaccine, for many reasons I say, don't. For a virus that has a 99% plus survival rate, without treatment, why would you risk your health with an experimental injection? Now if you are over 75, yes, the survival rate dips to 95%, but the main reason for that is...

If the Catholic Church didn't change the day, who did? I haven't seen any evidence of anyone else taking credit for such an act. The Catholic Church does claim to have accomplished that feat. Has anyone else stood up and attempted to deny the Catholic Church her day in the sun?

In Deuteronomy 27, where the curses are found, the twenty-sixth verse of which is quoted in Galatians 3:10, only the moral law is referred to. But while it is doubtless true that the ceremonial law was included in the “book of the law,” I have yet to find Scripture proof for the statement that...

You fellas are really really desperate to avoid the Sabbath huh. It's of so little consequence that you have replaced it. Why replace it if it's of no consequence? And what did you replace it with? A day of pagan origin dedicated to the sun god. SMH Why the determination to attack it if it's of...

So?
