How could the Messiah be sinless?

Jesus Christ, the Messiah, was born into sin, but did not sin. He became sin, lowered Himself in sacrifice that He might save the world from sin, but sinned not.

Jesus wanted to live not to die

I have not been following the tread, and not sure how this will fit in, but TIME is as follows: The context of God is "the same yesterday, today, and forever", while the context of time is "passing away." They are not the same, yet God by revelations has overlaid the things of time with the...

    Christian Fiction, Sci fi,make believe...

Your error is still error, "all flesh" is still all, for the context includes "the bridegroom" and "the bride." Apparently you yourself have read the bible, but do not understand.

    Christian Fiction, Sci fi,make believe...

Well, then you have a problem with interpretation. "All [flesh]" means all. If you are going to make exception, then "all" have not sinned either, and then anything goes and you can stop judging others.

    Christian Fiction, Sci fi,make believe...

That is the error you are making. God has not "sealed it off" but has "poured it out upon all flesh" (Joel 2:28-29).

    Christian Fiction, Sci fi,make believe...

Why do you speak for and about others regarding what you yourself have never experienced and therefore could not possibly know for certain? Do you not know that if even one is true you are guilty of envy, and that to do so brings their condemnation upon yourself?

    That's Two Christian Forums Now

Your assessment is not accurate. Most people in our present society, whether of faith or not, do not hate. That would be the exception not the rule. What you are seeing rather, is one backlash against another backlash about an issue that should be old dead and buried news of long ago, stirred...

WHY IS THE CHURCH GOING OUT BACKWARD?

Most churches are "stuck in the mud" because they have not and do not "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." Which is to say, they instead seek to apply the literal word of God to worldly matters, rather than understanding that the words are not literal in a worldly sense, but...

    Current COVID-19 Death Rate: 8%

You are quoting statistics in favor of your own beliefs and fears. Anyone can come up with a list of facts that say anything they want--just like the devil quotes scripture. But that doesn't change the truth that more people die from a host of other causes every year, and that Covid 19 is not...

~ Good Bye Dear Friend Willie T. ~

Thanks Helen. Prayers for Willie's wife, family, and friends. P.S. Incidentally, though we all depart "in our own order", we all arrive together. :)

    At A Crossroad...

I don't see your dilemma. I mean, to let your light shine...do you really need to limit it to those who agree with you? I shouldn't think so.

    Modern Prophets

Apparently your spiritual compass is broken. God is spirit, and the words of the Word, Jesus Christ are spirit. Therefore, you have it all completely upside down and backwards-- nothing of God can be over or "heavily spiritualized." But rather, all things of God are and should be...

    Modern Prophets

Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Here again "all" means all. But the point is, of course God pours out His spirit on sinners...or it would mean that He does not pour out His spirit on any flesh." Which simply is not true. Not "will be", but rather is. God...

    Modern Prophets

Apology not necessary, but with that logic you may as well say that God does not pour out his spirit upon sinners. But He does, meaning that logic is incorrect. The context is "all", not by me saying so, but by God. But the point is, which is greater, the flesh or the spirit? And if spirit...

    Modern Prophets

I am well, thank you. But you laugh at His words, not mine: He said "all flesh", but you laugh and say, "No?"
  16. ScottA

    Modern Prophets

The Holy Spirit being poured out "on all flesh", means "all." Not even only during these times, but also the former times, and not only on the good, but on the evil. All means all. The prophecy of Joel was a revelation. Christ ascended, but also descended.

    Modern Prophets

Oh, how I have missed a lot! There is a reason for such skepticism and even for Paul's comments (which were not against prophecies or gifts, but only against what is false). But the answer is two-fold: 1. It is not good to judge prophecies by whether they are specific or not, for even Jesus...

What's On your Mind! ~ Random Conversations about Anything...

Thanks for the concern Angelina! Sorry, I have been scarce. No issues, this whole debacle has just messed up my routine. God is good--blessing to all!

If Children come from Hell, how did they get there to begin with?

You have answered for Base12? But why does he believe these things are "hidden?"

    Covid-19 Hoax !

And yet...no coincidences. None. These are rather "the signs of the times."
