@Josho @Hidden In Him My trouble is..I so often miss the "new" Topics unless they show up on my Alerts. :( Can something tag me when it's started? Thanks.

And...I say amen and ditto to Josho's post :)

"Our old history ends with the cross; our new history begins with the resurrection." - - Watchman Nee - -

Haha!! Good one...and true of most of us!! I had to read it twice...it takes me a while. Interesting, but I'm not smart enough to comment too much. :D

As you say @Willie T ....Interesting indeed!!!

Well spotted @amadeus ....I didn't notice the date either!! :D

"Forasmuch ... as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death. that is, the devil. — And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over...

Amen @Truth Amen!

Good video. But what a pity so many Christians just blow it off as "fear mongering"....so many many gullible Christians who do not "have a clue what is really going on." As for the man in the street, most are brainwashed along with most Christians. It not as if we "dwell on these...

Yes indeed...nailed it!

Haha! Don't be fooled..yes some are nice, warm and welcoming. Some are even nice to "agree to differ with" in a polite way... But keep your guard up...some can be quite snippy and can be blunt and even rude..watch your nose , someone may try to snip it off. :D If you've been on other sites...

Good to have you here...hoping that you soon feel comfortable and 'at home'. :)

Oh don't fret. God is the vindicator...His gifts need no defence. :) I like the pictures we have in the word where when Moses was accused of taking too much upon himself etc etc...he fell on his face, ( got out of the way) which left his accusers face to face with God. And I always think of...

I guess we are all free to choose and believe what we believe the scriptures to be saying. I still believe that the sacrifice of the perfect Lamb did what God had designed from before the foundation of the world. All the rest is fruit, not some law to 'complete our salvation.'...

@Stranger Amen yes, good one. And I agree, rapture or no rapture is not the question...but 'are we living, ready'.... Our old pastor used to say.." One day God will say-" Ready or not, here I come." !! :) Even so...COME...

I agree. I'd talk to the pastor and give him a chance to "do something" rather than just leave. The last church I left was the self same reason as you. We were there for a year...I too loved the word, and the worship was better than most places..some gifts were in use too. But talk about cold...

I get frustrated with my older brother and wife. When I say anything about the OWO that just say- " No, it could never happen..not in this day and age." And they are strong active christians :(

Oh I agree...it is something which causes old friends to look at us like we have two heads!!! None so blind as those who refuse to see!! :(

Amen to the last ( new) good posts on here. At least we know what bbyrd009 means now when he gives it a mention. I was ignorant of this...I thought it was just one "happening" in the wilderness.

Oh OUCH!! Very true...but brutally factual ...
