To me the wrath of God was poured out on the nation of Israel when Jesus had returned to get his bride, all those who put Christ to death were justifyingly punished by the Fall of Jerusalem. Only believers would have seen the return in that day in age, some people were taken captive, and...

Hello to who asked the question, Young’s Literal Translation is one of the best English translations in my opinion. For Paraphrase I would choose New Living Translation as it is for people who have a hard time reading the thes and thous and what not.

needs more context brother, love you, take care.

What version of the Bible the scripture came from.

Hello @Pearl This is the Literal Translation Version Jer 44:17 for we certainly do everything that hath gone out of our mouth, to make perfume to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out to her libations, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our heads, in cities of Judah...

It's up to the individual. My mother never goes, she may watch it on tv every now and then. I know several people in my life who rarely go to church. All that is known is that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, and we are to believe on the One whom God sent, and love one...

Thank you for sharing. To me it is good to grow in our knowledge of the word, and have love for God and love for others. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Even studying it to increases our faith. God bless brother, and Robert.

Hello to anyone curious, If you read the book of Joshua, you will see all the land that was given to the 12 tribes of the nation of Israel. Levites did not receive any land, still they were all part of the nation which God has chosen in which the messiah would come from the line of David. You...

49-51 AD A majority of modern New Testament scholars date 1 Thessalonians to 49-51 AD, during Paul's 18-month stay in Corinth coinciding with his second missionary journey. A minority of scholars who do not recognize the historicity of Acts date it in the early 40s AD. 1 Thessalonians 5:12 Now...

Revelation 22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, going forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb: 2 in the midst of its broad place, and of the river on this side and on that, [is] a tree of life, yielding twelve fruits, in each several month rendering its...

He did say least you abide in me you can do nothing.

Choices can lead to our demise. God is the life giver, and the life taker. Thankfully we are alive and breathing today. Job 1:21 and he says, “I came forth naked from the womb of my mother, || And naked I return there. YHWH has given and YHWH has taken; Let the Name of YHWH be blessed.”...

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36 (according as it hath been written—'For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long, we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter,') Paul...
