@Aunty Jane part 2 of 2 Look at the words: You said in another post that a begotten must have a begetter... Above it says Begotten NOT MADE...so begotten does not mean MADE. Begotten means unique in the way it was used in the N.T. Cosubstantial with the Father is not in scripture? What does...

The persons whom you call inspired and wrote the gospels and the letters are the same persons that taught others before they died. Is this a surprise to you? I know it isn't. So how would you say the teachings with which Jesus instructed the Apostles were carried forward after they died? I'm...

Agreed. But He is so much more. The Anointed Messiah In a few places, the Bible authors also refer to an "Anointed One" that is different from everyone described above. This Anointed One is God Himself, which modern Bible translations often make clear by capitalizing the letters in the term...

You can think what you may.... but, just to be correct, I DID answer your question. Read it again...

Let US make man in OUR image .... is the plural of God. It does not mean angels. (that are not God).

I'll have to agree with you. But I also believe it's good to fellowship with other Christians. I know this for sure because I've moved to a place where we have only the Catholic Church. It has changed from what it was in the past and it's much better and I have born again Christians that belong...

Immanuel is not the name of Jesus. His name is Jesus. Immanuel is a title given to Jesus. Theodore has the word GOD in it. Are all persons names Theodore God? You should try to be more serious with your questions...

P.S. How would YOU feel about it if I joined a site of the Witnesses, Wrote JW under my avatar, and then proceeded to try to convert everyone to Christianity? I believe you would take issue with my self-description.

P66 and P75 would seem to confirm what the N.T. scriptures state. Only Begotten Theos. Only Begotten God. Right. When a person has to start to GO TO THE GREEK, he's usually trying to change what is in written in scripture. THEOS The NAS New Testament Greek Lexicon Strong's Number: 2316...

Funny stuff !

Since you consider yourself to be a Christian but do not care to follow the beliefs that Christians have believed for 2,000 years... Perhaps you could explain to us how Jesus was just a man, a heresy called Arianism, BTW, if He though He could forgive men their sins and if He was able to be...

Great post !

Good verse. Yes, God is our savior. This is why Jesus has to be God. Only God can save us.

Yes Amadeus! That makes sense. Sometimes 2 persons will be saying exactly the same thing and they're not even aware of it. I've known you some years now and I don't place you in the same category that some here are in. A person can believe what they will....God accepts those who love Him and...

Can I say how much I dislike that word: BEGOTTEN Thanks! :)

Whoa. Looks like you may not even believe in God Father/Jehovah/Yahweh/God Almighty.... God can do anything He wishes to do! He created the universe... I think He can do those simple things you mention in your above post. You should do some studying and find the answers to your own...

Is every other church PERFECT except for the Catholic Church? I follow Jesus. But I've learned a lot from the Catholic Church and also other denominations.

Funny Aunt Jane. Are YOU speaking for all JWs? And FOR THE LAST TIME... it's not ME who decides who is a Christian.... that has already been decided. See my previous post to you with one of the CREED's, which states WHO IS A CHRISTIAN.

Let me show you what I'd like...but I'll never do this, mainly because of my age.

In the O.T. we hear about the Spirit. WHO is the Spirit spoken of in the O.T.?
