Emu. A curious one.

And verse 20, if believed, would solve all our problems and confusions. ... For the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony. If they speak not according to this word, there is no light in them.

Heaven is described as a place of intense joy and peace. Where all tears are wiped away, a place where pain, both emotional and physical, are completely expunged. No sickness, no death, no sorrow, no regrets. What you are suggesting above, where our parents, or brothers and sisters, and in...

And all of those questions have been discussed on a variety of threads on every forum on the globe for decades... And in person for centuries before that. And we're still discussing, and we're still disagreeing. Somewhere in there is the truth... But man-invented tradition and lingering heresies...

This is one of society's most difficult problems. Dealing with first nation peoples. The people of Canaan were first Nations people who needed to be destroyed in order for God's purposes to be fulfilled in protecting Israel and the faith of Israel in the midst of rank idolatry and evil... Child...

You could be partly right, and you could be completely wrong. Thing is, we aren't told, and to guess and make assumptions on the nature of the holy Spirit is walking on holy ground, so better I think to stay clear altogether and don't bother with conjecture.

No. I'm asking you to defend your belief. I've already offered what I believe the holy Spirit was saying. That through the spirit of Christ Noah preached. That's what the scripture says if you read it without a preconceived bias... And it's in harmony with logic, common sense, and the rest of...

How does the spirit of man hear Him when his ears are rotting in the grave? You need to convince me that man still lives on in a conscious fashion without a resurrection, before convincing me that Jesus preached in person to people who lived in the time of Noah. You would also have to explain...

I understand. Truth has a habit of upsetting people's equilibrium.

That's the only way it harmonizes with the rest of scripture.

There was no punctuation in the original miss. The translaters allowed there own bias to prevail by putting the comma in the wrong place. Jesus said for effect, I tell you now this very day, you shall be with Me in paradise.

Just to add... The wages of sin is death. Nowhere in scripture does it say the wages of sin is hell. Jesus paid the price of sin... Death. He was buried, and the hebrew word for grave is sheol... Translated as hell in the English Bible... Wrongly I believe. Jesus died, was buried, and was...

KJV 1 Peter 3:18-20 18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when...

Jesus didn't convert anybody through distant messaging. He did it by loving them through action, then followed up by presenting Himself as their Savior. Even then, many rejected Him, even calling out crucify Him, crucify Him, at His fake trial. No atheist will ever be converted through online...

I think that the parable also teaches us that if we are serious about evangelism, God will supply all we need to accomplish our mission... Whoever it may be with. I also believe that God will lead us to people who are hungry or searching for truth, and give i is the wisdom to provide the right...

Is it the best Catholic, or the worst Catholic, that is closest to being the best Christian?

Mmm. I texted my daughter, and didn't check what I had posted. I wrote, in signing off, love you heaps. What my daughter read was, love your hips.

I remember a bumper sticker from the 1970s. If you feel far from God, guess who moved.
