One could quiet easily envisage the depth or breadth of grace was commensurate according to the need. Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. Now I'm not suggesting that Mary was a great sinner and therefore needed more grace, but I would suggest the "highly favored" aspect... The "full...

This today.... Ranging from 4.4 to 6.1 just south of Fiji.

If you are worshiping a bronze, silver, gold, or lead cross with a dead guy on it, yes, that's idolatry. If you are not worshiping the crucifix, but a dead person in reality, yes, that's idolatry. If you are worshiping the risen Christ who ministers before the throne of His Father in the...

Clever but deceptive word play. Jesus is our Savior. Mary is the mother of our savior. God is the Father of our Savior. I have no issue with Mary being the mother of our Savior. She is not the mother of our salvation. The Father, the Father only is the source of all things, especially our...

You do not have to be God - to be guilty of blasphemy?

The upshot of it all is that indulgences are still available if certain rites, days, jubilees, prayers, pilgrimages etc etc are observed. Salvation is still for sale.

What do you make of the following? KJV John 10:25-38 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them...

No reason.

two mates who worked together, knew each others' families, played footie together. One was an Aussie, the other a Kiwi. One day they were in the local bakery to buy their smoko, when the Aussie swiped three doughnuts and put them in his pocket. "How clever was that eh?" he said to his Kiwi mate...

Okay, if it's just my imagination, then please explain how a scripture such as the following... 2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not...

So your scripture contradicts my scripture????

Yes. If our testimony...our personal story so to speak, doesn't harmonize with a God "of love", the life of Christ, or even the law, which is summarized by the two "greatest commandments", then we have someone else to thank for our lives other than He who those multitudes and heavenly hosts...

Myth, or no myth? When Christ died, He "died for all", and tasted "death for every one". (2 Cor. 5:14; Hebrews 2:9) It had to be the second death that He "tasted", because what we call death, the Bible calls "sleep", which everyone experiences except those who will be translated (John 11:11-13...

Weapons of our warfare? In the passage on the armour of God in Ephesians, the only weapon detailed was the sword, which is the word of God. Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Nothing in the above...

Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because...

I do. But I dunt talk to them, kneel before them, or believe the one they represent has any more influence with God than me.

Yes. These Catholics think that some of us are completely ignorant of Catholic faith and practise, forgetting that we were brought up in that faith, and me, educated as well throughout my life in Catholic Marist bros. And priest schools. And being Marist, there were statues of Mary everywhere...

Christ Himself was in the grave for another day and a bit. He said to Mary that morning of the Resurrection, I have not yet ascended to My Father. And you have a little work to do on your other answers as well. You could do with a little more research and not be so confident of your...
