@Addy Truly sorry to see you leave, but I also understand only too well. I wish I could improve how things are, but seemingly that is not to be. You always have a friend in me. I hope you will make it back again, but if you cannot then contact me when you are able. Your friend in Christ...

@Mayflower You will missed here dear sister in Christ. I will continue to keep you and your family in prayer!

@Holy999 Also praying for you!

Praying on this as well!

"I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts." Ecc 3:18

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good...

But then being made in God's image, Adam and Eve sinned. Dead people do not look like God who is Alive! Were not all of Adam and Eve's children being born to dead parents also dead?

I remember when my brother and I were very young and needed money to buy candy or some other such treat. We would scour our little town [pop.1,000] for discarded used soda pop bottles [all glass in those days] filling up our little red wagon and take them to the grocery store where we would turn...

"And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy...

Because we don't understand or see no reason for some things God has done and is doing, does that make them absurd? And do we all then know all of the purposes of God? Does God never do things which we cannot personally understand? Consider the questions some sincere people have asked...

People call the Bible the Word of God and who is this verse speaking about...? Is it Jesus? "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14 What does Jesus tells us here? Joh...

I am praying for you and your family now my brother. Stand fast in the Lord always. He will see you through this according to His will.

Any thing done against God may be a sin, but the sin comes from the heart not from the results of a needle and ink in our skin alone. For you, getting a tattoo might be a sin because of where you with God, but not every person is the same as you nor in the same place with God as you. Be very...

Can anyone who has erred change? Yes, we were all born dead, but Jesus came to bring us Life. We may have scars, or ugly tatoos, or memories from before our change but we should not hold them against ourselves or others now. God does understand. He offers a new beginning as we are, but with a...

Right I remember when I was still working periodically I would get involved when people qualified under both systems, Canadian and US. Less frequently it also occurred with other nations who had Retirement systems and people who had worked under the two systems.

For watching many things I am lost without it. I have hearing aids geared to my problems, but by no means do they fix the problem. Background music when people are speaking creates in a me a chaotic result. The closed captioning makes it possible to following the theme in spite of the...

Social Security is the federal retirement system in the USA. I worked for them until I took early retirement myself in the year 2000.

"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matt 12:36-37

A very few times people may really be led by the Holy Spirit to speak to another... but as you say, too often it is not so. That is, too often either the person does not really have the Holy Spirit or he has quenched the Spirit so often that now he regularly follows his own ways believing that...
