Giving others freedom to think and believe differently

Amen, my friend! But... how many know just what Love really is? "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the...

    dont make excuses!!!

Unfortunately men continue to point their fingers at others very often without knowledge of the whole situation of those others. To do this kind of thing is the nature of the beast which men are. Who has already killed all of his own beasts?

Yes, it is better than most, but it is not unflawed in my humble opinion!

Giving others freedom to think and believe differently

I am afraid that too many of his instigating remarks caused his permanent removal from this place. Why was it that they tried to remove Jesus from Jerusalem? I won't say more lest I find myself in trouble without good cause here.

Giving others freedom to think and believe differently

Ah yes, indeed, and those in such places who do serve God know Him probably better than most of us in the USA. Is it possible that most people labeling themselves as Christians in the USA and other western [free?] countries are deluded? The lack of love of Truth according to what is written...

Or as our old friend @bbyrd009 would describe the latter, the one seeking death more abundantly instead of Life as they call evil good and good evil.

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

Indeed, but to understand them as I understand it, a man must have them brought to Life within himself by that same Holy Spirit that inspired them to be written in the first place...

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

This is the only place we can "know" Truth and that when God put it in us. It all started with just a little bit of faith. Then from faith to faith...

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

The trouble with "scientific evidence" is that it is also based on faith, faith in the accuracy of the five natural senses and faith with deductive or logical ability by our own brain which most of us have never "seen" using one of those five natural senses. Science starts with the presumptions...

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

Better to express doubts than to lie about them! But then where does a person get Truth? According to the what is written, Jesus said that he is the Truth. How do we get all that Jesus is... or even a measure of Him?

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

Written by some uninspired man when? Today or yesterday? Is anyone today lying to others? Who can we trust to always tell us the Truth? Your pastor or our parents or our brothers? Why are they not also men?

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

And what is "faith"? Everyone has faith in something. Faith that their car will start when they turn the ignition, faith that they will be paid for work done each day, faith that they will wake up in the morning, faith that their computer will not crash today, faith that they won't get sick and...

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

Are you finding yourself like Thomas doubting, doubting perhaps that the Bible, including the NT was written by men who were inspired by God to do so? To live in such doubt is to doubt God and His Son. I will quote one verse here for you to consider and pray about for your own sake: "But...

Conspiracy, or not a conspiracy. That is the question.

And what is in the heart of any man who does not know God? Is he not blind to the things of God?

And do we not live for God by faith rather than by knowledge? Do you want me to cite a Bible verse as proof, but then that would lack the knowledge of which you speak, would it not?

@Jay Ross Very glad to hear this. Then walk on as He leads you hearing His voice and not the voice of strangers. Agreed!

    Growing In Christ

You may need to learn to bite your tongue. You may need to ask God to help you to do that. All of our lives until we met Jesus our own fleshly ways have been leading us. When we meet Jesus we need to change... or at least to begin to change. Alone we cannot do this. We need to ask for help...

    Growing In Christ

We need to be patient with other people certainly! Also we need to be patient with God. God is never late even though we may think He is because the answer seems to be so important to us. Let God decide when it it time... "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he...
