Yes, from questions within myself from way back when... came the possibilities. Then after hearing only bits and pieces here and there from assorted ministers, the group where I was attending at the time had a large gathering in Florida with two leading ministers giving the opening presentation...

Praying for him as well!

@Holy999 But Reality is available even though few will be entering through the strait and narrow way to it... People like their imaginary lives like they like their fictional movies of zombies, vampires and such... That is what they are asking for and receiving... and then... nothing left at...

@Holy999 have you calculated when the rapture is going to happen If there really were a rapture what would the time of it matter? Either you are ready to meet Him when you run out of time or you are not. Your readiness is between you and God!

The devil subject is confusing to anyone who has heard the churches traditionally believe. Add to the tradition a some verses which would support the tradition is correctly interpreted. My own ideas on it are sketchy but controversial even though I am careful not to set them in concrete. Doesn't...

Perhaps! Actually I sometimes bypass you as well: Him for his content and you for your often too adamant tone especially when I am physically weary [very often these days]. In most cases I am more likely to agree with you than with him as he seldom has anything of his own. I don't need to hear...

@justbyfaith Learn to practice as well as say what you believe. On a forum like this you already know there will be some who disagree. You do not have to win them all to your point of view. God may use you, but like Jeremiah you may preach and teach the truth and in the end no one will hear or...

What is the proof that anyone should be receiving that he is wrong? Not so simple to state, is it? None of us in our flesh likes to be wrong or even worse to admit to someone else that we are wrong. I guess I have missed reading such an admission on your part. I am truly glad to hear that they...

@VictoryinJesus And then the "why" of parables: "10) And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12) For...

Perhaps one day the powers that be here will relent and allow him once more. I know he would love to return. He had invested in some things here in his search for more of God. He would instigate thought and even prayer although many people were unable to understand many of his words... Something...

@Holy999 And a "yes" will mean God will spit us out... Do many church going people care enough for it to really cause them concern?

How indeed? It was not by any event which everyone would call miracle. We were rather persuaded by the testimony of the lives of a family, who lived in the apartment house where we lived at the time. They did not enjoy all of the things, which my wife and I enjoyed in those days [such as...

The normal human mind without God is the mind of a beast or even at times lower than that of a beast! How much did Balaam understand of God's purpose when He finally spoke through a donkey to make His point? Why did God send His message through a beast? You are still sidestepping the main...

@justbyfaith In this response you neglected to explain the verse I quoted from Jeremiah: "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jerem." 10:23 Without the Holy Spirit every man is lost walking on his own. He has no navigator...

And do you believe then that the study of the scriptures through human logic alone will always result in Truth as God understands Truth? What about the Holy Spirit? Can a very intelligent man study all of the scriptures and encounter Truth, God's Truth, without being led by the Holy Spirit...

Hello dear Sister! Good to see you put in your 2 cents worth here, which is worth a good bit more than 2 cents in my own estimation. People's problem, as I see it, especially among too many bearing a Christian label, is too much emphasis given to how well things are going for "my flesh here and...

What we need is the perfect attitude and with the Holy Ghost in us that attitude is always at our fingertips. Why do we still stumble and fall after we have received the Holy Spirit? Because we still love or care about too many things in and of the world. "Love not the world, neither the...

Remember that we live for God by faith rather than by knowledge. Can God heal people? Certainly so even though doubts may assail us sometimes other people will support those doubts with their words and/or actions. Even as we are doubting we should speak and act hopefully and positively even when...

Praise the Lord, Sister, praise the Lord!

@My Dreams I am sorry hear this. I am praying for all of those affected by his loss!
