You had written that- "most do not know what is being stated in Hebrews 1." I said that by you saying "most" indicates they we don't, but you do. It is plain in Heb 1:1 that God used to speak through the prophets, and in verse #2 it says but now God speaks to us through His Son. So...

People say that they believe the bible...but they don't really. How many people do you know who have done just that? Do you know many one eyed or one handed Christians? I don't know any. Talk is cheap...

I have to agree on the many long lists of scriptures some people use. As if they are unable to really "speak from the heart" for themselves. Any fool can quote lists of scripture...I like hearing people beliefs and why they believe what they believe. I think that list of scriptures in...

"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself." That is why Jesus came...that is why He died. To bridge the gap of separation that fell on all through Adam. Adam's sin broke the fellowship. He fell into spiritual darkness and death...we were born into spiritual darkness and death...

I only know of one "Annihilationists" here on Site...I didn't know there were more. I don't hold it myself. But if I didn't already believe in the greater grace of God and restitution of all things...I probably would.

@Dcopymope Thank you for your response...and the work you put into it. As far as I can see from scripture, 'Court is still out' on that. Your 'proof' scripture doesn't convince me enough far. We will just remain to see it differently. God Bless ....H

I obviously don't agree...but I appreciated you responding.

Good grief woman, you are so verbose!!!

I think I am evolving backward...I was pretty good 30 years ago , now, If I was a dog the family would shoot me to be kind.!! :D

Do you see or sense any cross carrying going on?!! :) I don't. I am sensing just the opposite!! Who needs enemies when we have other Christians . lol God help us all.

:D :) Ostrich

We cannot know the temptations they had. Elvis used to sing at church as a youth. And at one time gave his life to the Lord. We dare not judge, we haven't walked in their shoes. We have our own 'inner garden' to keep clear of weeds.

So you say! I can quote the " lets quote verses game too" 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. " It is not "you" who cannot sin, of course you can!! It is the Christ within. Easy to say that "you cannot sin" who...
