True indeed...and sad. But we cannot be shaken and we must 'look up for our redemption draweth nigh.'

Yes, agree. We are not at the end of the end, but we are for sure at the beginning of the end.

:) . How about ‘for life’. LOL

I thought it was a 'sad thing'...it always was when I was a kid.

Well said @Stranger ( emotions and reaction without wisdom)

I know it is true that there has always been persecution. But why...in any search engine ( which are obviously not religiously biases) Whenever any person types in the word 'Inquisition'....what pops up is about The Catholic Church. That is what it says.

What does that mean? ...you write in riddles.

@junobet Thank you very much...a very well laid out overview. All the post here are 'food for deep thought' indeed. Bless you....H

And that is good. :) But I do love Paul's writings and probably read them most of all.

Haha! You spoke for me! I take one look and fast-forward to next post. :) It wears me out to just look at all the reading.

I have seen this many times now. I must be brain dead because I still don't understand why it is important to you to insist that you are not "Roman" Catholic. Is it a bad thing? Why do you distance yourself from it. All the world seem to say- " he, or she, is a Roman Catholic.." Why is...

Oh grams...I agree with 101G I have taken Vit C for years...it sure helps me. It's not too expensive. Plus I always take Vit D too...as we have long winters with sun but not sun we can sit out in , in sub zero weather! Ha! Many Canadians have low Vit D because of so little sun. D also keeps...

@BreadOfLife PS I think my above post is a picture of the kingdom. There will be sons who dwell in the House...and pig-pen sons who are not very blessed but still sons. ( wise and foolish virgins)

Thanks. Okay, was the prodigal son still a son of his father when he wasn't doing his will in the pig pen? Did the father still consider him a son when he was in the pig pen? He was restored when he came back...and he got all the treats and favours when he came back. ( rewards and...

Thanks... I was with you until your last two lines...I will have to chew on that. :) I still can't 'go there'. Bless you...kiss Kathy for valentines...it's not 'too' heathen :D

( and @amadeus ) Mark, you say that we will be judged by our works. Not so...it is our works which will be judged . He will try every mans works of what sort they are, gold, silver and precious stones, or wood, hay or stubble. Tried by fire...go check it out. 1 Cor 3 13-15 13 "Every man's...

We dance the same old dance :) But I can't let that be the last word.... God knew David's HEART not his works.... People wear themselves out trying hard, working to please God. Ps 40 6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering...

@BreadOfLife I have been reading your posts , as I always do. So, do you personally DO to stay saved or do you personally DO because you love Him? Once again it seems salvation and works get muddled. Yes, we do the works because it is a joy to serve Him, not to earn anything. Salvation is a...

Good point. I have often wondered if we traveled far enough through galaxy after galaxy we would come here. But I lean to the belief that heaven is only a breath away...just a different out of view dimension. Yet here...a change of spiritual location not physical. That is why I am...

Haha!! Loved your post :) I guess it's a bit like the concept of 'heaven' Seeing all this deep snow around us, and trying in some way to picture you with hot days and fan's on!! Very hard to do...what we see effects what we believe...ie...I believe snow because I see it...but I must...
