Good post, I agree. Emotions are attributed to God in the word, not because He has them...but for the writing of it so we can understand even to a tiny degree our God...which we cannot. He tries to reveal Himself to us as we would try and reveal who we are to an ant. It can't be done...hence...

...our dog at first obeyed as a pup because of commands he learned..and a little fear of his owner. Now in maturity he obeys it not by command but by his slobbering total devotion. :)

Depends on what you mean here? Are you meaning the ten commandments? Or do you mean all the other stuff, like circumcision, Sabbath worship, and those kind of laws? If you mean the Ten...then that is covered in 1 Cor 13 .... "if I have not love it is all a tinkling symbol ..." And Jesus Great...

Thanks for asking. It went really well and the team were happy with the amount of contacts they made. It was a very large gathering for it...so they had lots of opportunity to 'touch lives' even for a tiny moment. I was hoping for some clear feedback of how one or two reacted to the...

Hey @Frank Lee I too drink bicarbonate of soda...I put 1/2 teaspoon in a 45oz of weak lemon juice and drink it all day. As you say...it is a good neutralizer of acid, plus my sodium gets low, and this keeps it balanced. Ouch, ouch , ouch...your poor feet.

@pia .. Hahaha!! Sorry you git lumped in there with my Australia ran. :D I forgot that you were over there. And yes, we have a "teenager" as our PM. But business wise we have lots of links with USA..especially living here in Calgary..we have many Americans here. I like them...I...

I notice that the OP was written by someone in Australia. I myself often felt guilty when I said what I thought about Trump ( whom I would have voted for if I could have voted. ) I am in Canada...and we feel connected to USA and in some things we are linked. But, when I see people from...

BTW @bbyrd009 I'm glad you dug up some of these old threads again...I have had a good read today. :)

One is by law, the other by love...I do because I love, I don't do to earn love. I see the above post....again...Once you find a favourite you sure do milk it for all you can get , don't you? :D

You obviously like that post a lot .....repeat.... :)

Very well said! The priesthood of all believers. All believers... "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.."

Yes agree....as I read your post I thought- Now that would make a good thread. I wonder how many people believe it the other way around! OR , just maybe God isn't "into" formula's. He breaks all boxes. :) How on earth did this get doubled up! Back across the page half of it posted..then...

Yep. Rom 10. "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." But I can't see how anyone can confess until the first see. Do you? Maybe it happened different for us all. With me, 1) I heard ( saw) what Jesus had done...2) I...

Another excellent OP...posts that I agree with are always excellent. :D And as much as I amened and nodded my head as I read all the posts on here I was also so very sad and groaning within...because what you write is so true. How long Lord , how long. So many of God's lovely people...

Good and interesting thread...I'm reading it, but I don't find I have anything much to add. :)

I do believe that there is nothing that we 'have' to be ready. But the thread's OP is about multiple baptisms for a person. I myself have friends who went back 20yrs later to get re-baptised because they had no idea what it meant ( ie all the depth of what is happening) when they were first...

I read this the other day, I should have clicked the like button then. ( just so you know. :) ) I like it a lot. In fact I like all your studies and posts. You have a message. Yet I am still "chewing on it" ..it being the "Rapture" mention bit ...(because it cuts across my own belief system...

@soul man Another good post above. I agree, I know the AKJV has it's problems...it's not perfect...but as you say, it seems the more translation we get the more is 'cut out'... So I soldier one with KJV ... :) God help our grandchildren or great grand children that will have a bible (...

@clark thompson I'd even go a step more ..live in His word yes...until we are soaked and become the word.
