The Rich Man ~ New Living Translation ~ Will possibly start doing commentary on these soon again. 17 As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 “Why do you call me good?”...

There is great power in the voice that all of us have to be able to read allowed the words spoken on the page of a book. You can go and seek the King James Version; and I believe for the most part New Living Translation is a great read for those who of maybe not into the old language. Either way...

Because it can be dogmatic and not let others have their own way. That is not healthly. The only thing that should ever really be dogmatic is that without faith in Christ; their is no forgiveness of sins; which have been paid for already. Everything else is subjective. Like : the last days...

When comes to the question of what the kingdom culture should look like? Would say it is living by the spirit. To have love, peace, forgiveness, mercy, patience, kindness, long suffering to any and all people that you come across it only happens when one is abiding in Christ to in which He...

Thank you for sharing those scriptures @Bruce Atkinson

Right there with you brother. Keep holding on to faith!

Believe suffering can produce character as well, especially one suffering for Christ. I may be wrong though.

@stunnedbygrace it’s believed by me that seeing someone’s face and hearing them talk expresses far more ones character than that of the words being read to yourself by others in your own voice. It tends to get messy sometimes I believe.

Be encouraged there is hope. God is a deliverer and His Son Jesus overcame the world. Mark 4.
