Yep , that is indeed the attitude these days...it makes a person weep. "They" run the church with no thought for God's will or leadership. I hate man's legalism... with very bone in my body.

I personally do not give it time of day ...unless I try to live without the Holy Spirit....then I fall flat on my face. I believe it is a fruit of the flesh... and the devil's candy. He feeds on it and loves the negative atmosphere that it causes.

Yes it just showed up...got it...but haven't read your like yet. Watching this place and will read link...

I think you already know the answer to this Aspen... :) God hates murmuring and complaining so much so that He let the Children of Israel wander and die in the heat of the wilderness... ...and He tells us to rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing and in everything....give thanks ...

Closer as in understanding... Closer in seeing that He who is Perfection lives within us. I always find that we must walk that fine balance between where our position is in Christ is when He says "Abide in ME"... and our daily 'walking position' as we get our feet dirty with the dust...

:D :D Perfection.

Obviously I did not say that...what I am saying is... ...if God says we need them around, to let the truth shine brighter....that is well and truly good enough for me.

God planted the seed within her.

This scripture always takes me back to the Garden. The Serpent knew the power of lust. He knew that Eve lusting was not going to be enough. She saw the tree was good for knowledge...she was getting hooked by him..but still not sinning. But when she ate of what was being...

Yay! Glad you said it...I was going to say it too. Rom 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." With regard to Christ’s shed blood, redemption essentially means ....... deliverance from death by means of payment of a very...

That was so GOOD!! Love it. :) Quite profound.

Oh I guess I am stepping into dangerous waters here. Not wanting to offend anyone. But NO, tried that. There are many here...even dear old Quakers.. But that is not the type of meetings I was speaking about... We will disagree I know...because I am talking about a Holy Spirit lead...

Well my friend then you are well blessed. Every church we have tried here in 25 years has the hand of man firmly at the helm, not God's.

Author: William Canton (1845-1926) This gospel sang the angels bright: Lord Jhesu shall be born this night; Born not in house nor yet in hall, Wrapped not in purple nor in pall, Rocked not in silver, neither gold; This word the angels sang of old; Nor christened with white wine nor red; This...

Thank you very much for yours. I do not see the 144000 as a literal complete number. But I do se it as a collective selective group of people/overcomers/co-inheritors... I guess when I Jonadab's post..it just reminded me of the other thread..where I said that man gets into trouble when...

I just took a wee peep at it...it looks good, so I have bookmarked it on YouTube to watch this afternoon. Many thanks :)

When in England this is what we had...this is our church conducted itself...an open forum..and Spirit lead, everyone who spoke was in order and done with respect for one another. If two stood to their feet at the same time..one would just defer to the other to go first. Our meeting were about...

Agree...He gave it clearly...and then hides it for us to search it out. Prov 26:2 "The honour of God is to hide a thing, And the honour of kings to search out a matter."

Not following...what do you mean natural? I am talking about our two choices...the Spirit ,or this life we live. So,.. when you get out of bed in the morning...which life do you choose to live in?

Well we can choose 'our' definition of perfect...God has set it! :) ....the definition is Flawless, I believe you will find the root meaning in the bible word is Complete. Col 2:10-15 is the only completeness , flawlessness and perfection man can have... 10 And ye are complete in...
