    The Proof of Salvation

Worth a chuckle, yet the elect are actually like the sands of the seashore in number. But every generation remains under the shroud until He who restrains is taken out of the way.

    The Proof of Salvation

Yes, and why He did not commit His flesh to the Father, but only His spirit. Which should be a clear indication that His resurrection was of the flesh, but His ascension of His spirit, showing the two acts to be completely different. But the flesh wars against the spirit and seeks its own glory.

    The Proof of Salvation

Indeed. That which was to be facilitated by the Holy Spirit, which was His promise of Christ. But many stop at the written word and even use it against that promise. The irony is, there is so much that is written of it, from Jesus' woe to the lawyers for taking away the key of knowledge and...

    The Proof of Salvation

Your actions prove you wrong. We are now on page 20 of you speaking against Love ("God is love"), whom is spirit, whom is perfect, whom I have been telling you about, and you do not want to hear it. And, again, you are wrong: "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God."
  5. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

That is scriptural debauchery. "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God." But thanks for stepping into the light to be counted.
  6. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

God is spirit. God is perfect. That is his end game, i.e., he is spiritualizing all things ("Behold, all things have become new.") That's good. People who speak against God's spiritualizing all things, using the word "spiritualizing", are against Him. That's bad. Same word. Two different uses...
  7. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

For the same reason God created the world: to expose the darkness. Ephesians 5:11-13
  8. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

It is pretty amazing... I put out an invitation for people to "Go for it", to do just that, to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, to deny that God is spirit...and here they are stepping up to be counted. Just amazing!
  9. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

God is spirit. Daily I defend that. Daily I am attacked for it, often with use of the word "spiritualize." Is that not obvious that it is against God who is spirit?

    The Proof of Salvation

If all this had been a book report or reading test, you have failed. You have misquoted me, left out much of what was instructed so long ago in the scriptures, and misunderstood both me and God. And now with indignation, still signing off under the false pretense of love. Obviously you remain...
  11. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

We're not going to get this unless you include the complete word from God. Let me skip to the end: “Behold, I make all things new.”
  12. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

Which is ironically contrary to the promise of redemption, and a disservice to God in the sharing of the gospel, our commission. "Behold, I make all things new." Remember?
  13. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

You are talking about doing good in the world, which we are indeed instructed to do. That is not the point I am making or addressing. That is all secondary to first seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness. God is spirit. So...if we are to put him first, it is not physical, not flesh...
  14. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

It is not my word. If I were to define it by its use, I would have to say that it is a weapon of Satan, a word against God, whom is spirit.
  15. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

Not that body. 1 Corinthians 15:37 You quote, but do not see that it says there are two different bodies, one natural and one spiritual.
  16. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

If you resort to 'isms and name calling, this is going nowhere. You are not even hearing yourself. You "earth" and "new earth" and consider them the same. They are not. The elements of this world, including the flesh are to be burned with fire. Why is it that you cannot transition from this...

    The Proof of Salvation

Then you have learned very little. Did not Jesus explain His parables? Did God not say that this is the means by which He would speak? Of course both are true, but you have not heard or taken it to heart, and now you argue against their explanations, and have the wrong idea. When and if you...

    Why Christians Disagree

You are reading the wrong signs. Your eyes and your mind are playing tricks on you - is that not a component of scientific fact also? If you turn around, the signs will tell you to go the opposite way. If you turn to the right, they will tell you to go right, if to the left, then left. But this...

    Why Christians Disagree

No maybe about it. And I do not "think", I know.
  20. ScottA

    God "spiritualizes" EVERYTHING.

I already quoted the truth from Paul...which you seem to have skipped over or been blind to: There is no fleshly body resurrection. Nothing in scripture tells us that the flesh will enter the kingdom of heaven - just the opposite.
