Why is it that a seemingly black and white 'rule' is needed? Was it not shown in the OT that having a whole set of written rules was Not the answer needed? Did not Peter declare it to be so?

Helen was here Thursday for a short while but continues with problems at home. I just sent her a message a few minutes ago checking on her...

@My Dreams Praying now for your Dad!

Must we know that it was Samuel or some imposter in order to receive God's message to us? God certainly speaks through evil men [high priest who conspired to kill Jesus gave a prophecy from God] and "lower animals" [Balaam's donkey] as well as through legitimate prophets. What is God saying to...

Indeed, Jesus left this world of men, but we who are left are to be the Light to others that Jesus was! "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are"...

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matt 11:28-30

Those able to hear Jesus loved it, for the moment, but they looked away to see and hear the "good" and "evil" around them and back to the start they went or perhaps to a place seven times worse! As you might say here: "When we all get to heaven..." Give God the glory now: "Not that I speak in...

I cannot transfer the weather to you, but nonetheless, be blessed in the Lord as well!

You, my friend, will, as they say, have to grin and bear it.

The Cold Front down from Canada down into Colorado with an early snowstorm which moved the south east into the Oklahoma panhandle they had measurable snow. No snow in the rest of Oklahoma, which includes where I live but record breaking low temperatures for highs for this date for most of the...

What would be wrong with simply putting first things first or... if and when we are unsure of what should be first we submit as fully as we are able and sincerely ask and continue to ask God to take up the slack? "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things...

@Giuliano Yes, with the disobedience of Adam and Eve death was immediately on the scene in every person born of the flesh from then until now. But... the living also came up from the dead because God made it a possibility. For this reason certainly God sent Jesus to us. "The thief cometh not...

Trust always in God. Only those who have overcome everything between them and God don't still have problems. Who among us has already overcome all of the world as Jesus did? No, not one that I know for sure...! Hopefully our @Helen will be back soon to talk with you here again. She's had a...

Apostle Paul described in the following words what Jesus practiced when living among us as a man of flesh subject to temptation as we all are subject to temptations: "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself."...

Amen! Jesus saw perhaps all of the evil things done already, and to be done, by people supposedly working in the Name of God, but really not really knowing what that meant! There are probably lots of people today with great biblical knowledge... as the Pharisees of old had great biblical...

@My Dreams Praying now for all of you!

Praying for our nation and its leaders!

First consider the question of just who satan is? The word, "satan" means adversary or our enemy. Whether that is some separate entity consisting of evil or simply a manifestation of the left hand of God invoked to curse or kill is not a question I'll address specifically here. Consider that...

We might weep for the truth but would it not be better to discover why Jesus wept and take hold of what he had in the way of purpose? When Jesus was going to the grave of Lazarus he wept [see John 11:35]. Some say he simply was weeping because his friend had died. But, I would say rather that...
