And who is not a liar among us? "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." Rom 3:4

Jesus is not denying that he, himself is good! He is saying that only God is good and certainly Jesus was not lying. So we perhaps should conclude that anytime any person does anything that God would call good, that God must be involved in that person's good action. For a person filled with the...

You believe in the laws of physics and gravity? Then you may also be familiar with what is called the scientific method, which is based on certain presumptions, is it not? For example, some things are measurable as men are able to measure and perceive the measurements according to their five...

No one else seems to be responding to you here. What do you think? "...there is none good but one, that is, God:..." So then if every good man is also God consider this: "And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:" Luke 23:50 Is Joseph of...

Not to deride your usage but people too often, I believe, speak of fact when they are referring to something they really only believe without having anything concrete on which to base an idea or event like their own personal eye witness. Who or what else do you trust? For 2,000 years ago or even...

Give God the glory, indeed! And then just in case... "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on...

You really answered none of my questions. Any of us can have an opinion about something that happened, [if it did happen] about 2,000 years ago. Some people, including myself, have faith that it did. From where comes this faith and what is it? Very simply the Bible answers the last part of my...

The Nephilim giants

Also joining in prayer here for @April_Rose !

Our friend brian100 has been missing for a couple of months. I wouldn't expect him to reply... Why would you believe these things about Jesus? From what you have heard from people? From what you have read in other books? From what you have read in the gospel accounts?

What is God's purpose? Until you begin to understand that, how can you be certain that He is, or is not, anywhere?

Amen!

All have sinned! But considering what Jesus did and the availability of the power of God via the Holy Spirit, what is impossible? From natural birth we all sinned. From our new birth, the impossible has become possible, but people do not want to completely surrender to God or cannot... alone...

If we, ourselves, are flawed still, how would we know when we saw such a person? I have met a very few people over the years who may have qualified, but I did not see all of their hearts. People on this forum and others over the years have often said, 'there is no one who does not sin at all'. I...

To speak what we believe as the truth openly will eventually or even now bring condemnation and worse...? Do we still have the legal right to speak? Yes, if it is politically correct, whatever that is at the moment! Fortunately we do have a better Hope!

More and more to those who can see and hear, it is perceived that the wide way to destruction is heavily traveled by people at least claiming to be followers of Jesus. When we listen to them what are we able to hear? When we look at them, what are we able to see? Or perhaps a better question...

Aye... back before I was born already the softening of people for the hard stuff had begun. Everyone it seems loves the Wizard of Oz produced in color in 1939. They had a 'good' witch [what is a 'good' witch?] as well an evil one. And then many years later on TV along came the very cute program...

@My Dreams Praying for your Dad!

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." John 1:18 "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power...

How can you be certain that no man through the power of the Holy Ghost has not overcome the temptations that when followed, lead to sin? Is God unable to overcome the world in each of us? Or may it be that we, any of us who still sin, refuse to let Him work His work to completion? Sounds a bit...
