Gregg....Commando has a valid point. I too believe they are the elect returning with Him. They are the "clouds of witnesses" Paul spoke of.

Hi Christian Commando! :) I very much agree with the tone of your post but disagree with a few points. Paul was a Roman but he was also of the tribe of Benjamin so he was a Jew as well. Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away His people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of...

I tried to pull the video but...it has been removed. Funny how that happens.

In another thread a statement was made about debating with those of other faiths, beliefs, denominations, etc. Although it may be like hitting your head against a wall....our Father tells us that He strengthened our heads for that very purpose. :) When reading the following verses consider that...

Yes it is for we are "sons of man." :) Ezekiel 3:4-5 And He said unto me, "Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with My words unto them. For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel; 3:8 Behold, I have made thy...

Kriss/Christina.....this information is absolutely fascinating....thank you!

Daniel 11:32-33 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and...

EXCELLENT POST !!!

Paul wrote, showing a difference in what he was teaching and what the Spirit said.... 1 Timothy 1:3 As I besought thee 1:12 And I thank Christ 1:13 But I obtained mercy 1:16 I obtained mercy 1:18 I commit unto thee 1:20 I have delivered 2:1 I exhort 2:7 I am ordained....I speak the truth 2:11-12...

QUOTE (watchman @ Apr 19 2009, 01:24 PM) This is the baptism of fire, the destruction of the wicked by fire at the 2nd coming of Christ. How interesting. I always thought of the fire for believers as being a good thing but I believe you are correct. It seems the believers are baptized with...

The thirteenth chapter of Ezekiel is scathing to false prophets! In it He tells us two of their lies that anger Him. It is appropriate that this verbal "taking them to the woodpile," is in chapter thirteen for that number means....# 13 ~ ill omen, rebellion, apostasy, defection, corruption...

An understanding was opened to me this morning. I have questioned what the "image" of end times is that we are warned against. What is the image of Daniel in our lives for we know we won't be asked to bow to a literal statue of gold, brass, etc. It is answered in Jeremiah.Jeremiah 51:17 Every...

QUOTE (tomwebster @ Apr 14 2009, 05:48 PM) Reminds me of the verses in Matthew:Mat 9:16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. Mat 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles...

QUOTE (tomwebster @ Apr 14 2009, 05:23 PM) I expect it could be family members and/or friends, but even more likely candidates are those well intentioned Christian friends and associates that think you are going to the wrong Church, or you don't agree with this Pastor or that Pastor's teaching...

QUOTE (watchman @ Apr 14 2009, 12:25 PM) The Bible says anyone that takes the mark of the beast is going to burn, I will just have to go with what scriptures says. It also says that if we do not take the mark we cannot buy or sell so I think we will be hungry for food. Taking the mark is...

QUOTE (watchman @ Apr 14 2009, 10:49 AM) This is 100% false anyone that takes the mark of the beast is doomed, there will be no repentance for them.Revelation 149 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his...

Exactly. Who is he and what did he say?
