What does the Bible say about creation... The manner in which we were made? Just reverse it.

Which is partly why I have reservations regarding the current church's portrayal of a three in one trinitarian definition describing three persons. Yet on the other hand, the holy Spirit is described in the Bible as having personal attributes. But yeah.. I can see where you are coming from. Like...

The party I disagreed with is the suggestion that "our spirit' is our real 'person'... As if it can be separated from the body and continue to be that 'real person'. I have seen no evidence of that in the Bible.

This I disagree with. Smacks of Platonism. Greek mythology where the pure Spirit inside is seeking to escape the evil flesh body. Not biblical.

@Funny bird all of us, without exception, were sinners no different to yourself, and many of us likely worse. And God heard our prayers. And he hears yours. He is not ignoring you. And if you can't believe He forgives, then ask Him for more faith so you will believe. He delights to forgive. He...

I agree with much of the above, except for the pea brain idea. I think if explained adequately, the nature of the Godhead would be understood even by us, with the aid of His Spirit, but the truth is, there is no such explanation. As for the Spirit not being a separate person,? I think He/it? is...

Yes, I meant God, have to be more careful about editing my own typing. Even there, it came up as topping my own tipping. I agree with the rest. If God had intended we understand His nature, He may have granted us a great deal more detail. I do believe in a Trinity. However, I think the church...

I've been wavering back and forth over the concept of the Trinity/Godhead for several years now. At times I would find myself firmly on the trinitarian side, then firmly anti trinitarian. Right now, simply because the Bible does not elaborate on the actual nature of good at all, and most of our...

I don't think we can describe the coronavirus as a plague just yet. In genuine plagues, it is unusual for anyone to survive. In this case, it is unusual for anyone to die. I think the reason for the panic is because people are bereft of faith. "When the Son of man comes, shall He find faith in...

https://www.itiswritten.com/coronavirus/ While it is only something less than 2 to 3% of people infected who are dying, people are dying. And by far the greater demographic affected are the elderly... Particularly those with health issues such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and lung...

Although one may not reach above the ground floor, at least you don't need to stock up on hoses. One will do the job in lieu (pun intended) of paper.

I think the greatest manifestation of love is self sacrifice. Daniel, despite having no fault recorded against his name, identified himself a sinner along with the nation of Israel in his prayer of repentance in Daniel 9:4-14. Such humility was even further exemplified by Jesus in taking upon...

How can it be anthropomorphic when it was God Himself who proffered the description? Many visions have been granted men throughout all ages of God seated upon a throne. In some cases the throne itself, and the other creatures surrounding it, are described in detail. And in one case a vision of...

You are to subject yourself to that authority only in so much as that authority is subject to God. Should any authority institute any law, tradition, practice or coffee that nullifies or contradicts the laws of God, then you are not required to obey.

It is a well known fact that no mummy was ever diagnosed with Corona virus. There's a rumor circulating that the panic was instigated by Rupert Murdoch in order to increase subscriptions to his papers.

Kennedy was assassinated for a couple of reasons. Kennedy's plans were antagonistic to the Vatican, despite his being Catholic. The first, his desire to scrap the federal reserve and print host own notes. The second, was not refrain from escalating the war in Vietnam and prop up the Catholic...

Hi @Naomi25 . I'm closest to God when I'm being the most honest with Him. When I'm struggling. After I've fallen over. When I needed to be picked up. When I most realised my utter inadequacy. That's when He draws closer than any other time.

Unless of course you pray for him and his family.

Sorry, no. Did you fully support Obama? Would you fully support Sanders if he was elected? Would you have fully supported Hitler if you were living in 1940s Germany? How do you know you Trump has your best interests at heart and is not working secretly to bring in global governance? By all means...
