(guysmith;31305) I believe that the US is Babylon. Specifically, Babylon is NAFTA. And that her destruction is the event that causes the sun to be darkened and the moon to blood, 3 1/2 days before the advent of Christ. In Yehoshua,Guy Smith I disagree Guy Smith. As Jag said, "Babylon means...

(Atheist.85;33118) So the bible is basically instructing all who believe in it to forget about thinking and the pursuit of knowledge because it says so? That alone defies reason. "Don't think, just do" is a common stance for a lot of religions it seems. From my own experiences in the world...

(Leviathan;32954) I realized long ago that The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe had the same basic story line as the jesus. Aslan more than any other character portrays jesus. He comews to the land dominates they kill him and he is resurrected in a sense. Is this sinful to do becaue i have heard...

(Morning_Joy;32910) So, does the "spiritual body" mean that we will be floating, disembodied spirits? I'm just curious. and confused Our posts crossed No, as stated in my previous post....no, spirit bodies have mass!.......Whirlwind

(Morning_Joy;32765) This topic has never came to my mind before, but I have read of the resurrected bodies in God's word and I believe itwhen I read the post "Dinosaurs and Christ", I saw the mention of "spiritual bodies" and that man wasn't flesh, but the animals were. I'm just wondering, what...

(ps77;32908) Yes, Whirlwind, that would be great; scripture for your beliefs on the rapture, please. How do we discern twisted doctrine. After all, many would call yours a twisted doctrine (about there being no rapture). That is why you did the right thing....ask for documentation. :bible:Most of...

(ps77;32888) I've seen many contradictions.I've been able to explain a few, just misunderstandings, but some, I cannot explain. So many people within Christianity claim to be Christian, but are far from it. There will be a weeding out. There is a lot of things in a lot of Christian denominations...

(Dukester;32624) Well, really many people think the world will end in 2012,but nobody knows for sure, there are clues in the bible when the devil will come, and try,but no for sure date!!!We will never really know what is going to happen, what we need to do instead of focusing when the world will...

(ps77;32685) Noise, noise, all of this; noise to me. I would suggest that you filter the noise of false teachings and open His Word....hear and see the quiet truth as told by God Himself! This statement wasn't referring to the God of each respective religion. It was referring to God, as he is...

(tim_from_pa;32670) As soon as I hear lost tribes, my ears pick up..... One has to be an ostrich to believe the Jews are all 12 tribes. The word Jew is derived from the tribal name "Judah"---- simple fact. From an end-time perspective, knowing who Israel is remains important since prophecy is...

(toddsumrall.com;32667) You are talking about something called the GAP theory. It cannot be right. The reason is very simple. Death entered this world because of Adam's sin. Before that there was no death. The GAP theory teaches that there was a creation before this creation and they are now...
