Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

Now you are going in circles. In post #77 you indicated that you need to agree to disagree with me after stating that you believe pretty much everything that "most Christians" believe. But now you are saying you are different...even though your beliefs are the same as theirs. If that were true...

    The Criteria of Antichrist.

The man of sin is the man of flesh. If needs be one man, his name is Adam (even Peter), in whom all die. This same man crucified Christ, to his own demise. Then and now, just as Christ foretold, we fight brother against brother, and child against parent.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

This comes under Christ's principle, of: Matthew 23:17 "Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?" You have chosen. So have I.

Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

How about that group of "most Christians" that you mention in post #77 that you are a part of, are they ready?

'Wherever there is a carcass......' Matthew 24:28

You criticize and quote, but have not reconciled the quote that I have first given you. Does God contradict Himself? No, but you contradict Him with your tit for tat use of His word. Obviously, you do not understand what you are quoting.

'Wherever there is a carcass......' Matthew 24:28

I stated it as clearly and accurately as the scriptures allow: All language has been confounded by God himself, but the promise of Christ is to be lead unto all truth by the Holy Spirit. But what you are saying about carcasses in morgues is just foolishness - that is what happens when you do...

'Wherever there is a carcass......' Matthew 24:28

"We" could indeed, for all language is confounded. But by the spirit of God the truth is revealed.

'Wherever there is a carcass......' Matthew 24:28

It is the flesh that dies, but the Spirit gives life. The verse is a reference to the leaders of the church partaking of the flesh of the world rather than the spirit of God.

'Wherever there is a carcass......' Matthew 24:28

First of all, He does not speak of a global visibility, but specifically says "The world sees Me no more." Verse 28 then, refers to the heads of the church gathering around the flesh, meaning the world and where Christ was crucified.

    Gender neutral Bible

The problem with that...is it does not allow for "rightly dividing the word of God", because it is all divided in translation without considering that those things spoken of men, pertain to God rather than to men.

    Gender neutral Bible

Agreed. No gender is an invention of the godless. Gender is the revelation of God portraying His headship or husband/wife relationship with mankind. In other words, if God is male and the church is female, a women as head of the church, portrays a man over other men. Likewise, a marriage...

Jesus Christ Prophesied He Will Not Return Until This Happens - Matthew 23:39

Matthew 23:39 was spoken to the people of Jerusalem. What He meant was that the first fold would not see Him except in spirit, for they were born under the first Adam and were "the dead in Christ", to whom He first came: "the house of Israel." For which He also said, "hereafter you will see the...

Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

That should lead you to question your position, of whether you are in the "most Christians" group or not. If so...your own words are now added to the word of God, as a warning.

Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

Again...that takes a lot of assuming on your part...against the clear word of God, per se.
  15. ScottA

Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

Almost... Except, we are not told that there are seven final years that are future. On the contrary, we are told there are seven "times", which is translated for us as "time, times" (and half a time)." So, not seven, and not years. And the latter times, are the times after Christ, the times of...

Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

You didn't answer the question, except to assume the Jew's assumption with your own assumption, while defining "soon" as later, against the clear written word of God.

Response to 20 questions for futurists (part 1)

The book of Revelation itself declares the times which it pertains to: "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this", which is to say, all of time...or "a time, times, and the half of time."
