For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

That's silly. And one who sews is not a tailor, and one who bakes is not a baker, etc.. Apparently you have reinvented the word by your own private interpretation.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Jesus gave a pretty good sampling of His own choosing. It is sufficient. The point still stands. As for the other churches...good luck defending them. Now, that's funny! Funny is not the correct word. The word is "brilliant." But I will humor you: It's funny how every generation of church...

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

Paul pressed on in the Spirit bringing the gospel to the gentiles, leaving behind the elementary principles of Christ, which was foretold by Joel the prophet, ordered by Jesus, and confirmed by both Jesus and Peter...by the mouth of two or three witnesses. Does that mean you also hate Joel...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

I only said the gift of prophecy, but I also meant prophets...and so do the scriptures say BOTH "the gift of prophecy" and also "some prophets." So, no, you are wrong. A prophet is simply one who has the gift of prophecy.

    Rapture and End Time Beliefs

You are a name-caller (backbiter), and a false witness. Your time is short.

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

I have given you the scriptures line upon line, but you refuse them with hate in your heart. Fine.

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

You answered your own question: It is not that the gift of prophecy has been taken away, but there are also false prophets. Which, as it says, will deceive "many", not all. Thus, since you have combined what should not be combined (the one book of Revelation with all others), you risk violating...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

That is not biblical. The gift of prophecy was among the gifts of the Spirit given to the church for these last days.

    Got your ears on?

It is written, that "In the beginning was the Word." It does not say, "In the end." These are the last days...not the beginning. The End is God, whom is spirit.

    Got your ears on?

Wow...you have a lot of issues. Now it's capitalism. Nonetheless, before the scriptures were, I am. No contest.

    Rapture and End Time Beliefs

Simple questions don't make accusations. I gave you a simple answer.

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

Okay...so you don't believe Jesus is God. Fail. No..."many are called, but few are chosen." Fail. No..."there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." Fail. Not exactly..."All things that the Father has are His", and He (Jesus) gives the keys of the kingdom to His church. Fail. No..."...

    Got your ears on?

I think it was Burger King that had a commercial offering a choice of Hamburger A which was hot, juicy, and delicious, or Hamburger B which was cold, plain, and tasteless...and then they showed a strange fell who very animatedly shouted, "I'll take Hamburger B!" Given the choice of which is...

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

God is [indeed] spirit. Jesus is God. John's testimony of Christ coming in the flesh, simply confirms what is written of Messiah. But what is Messiah if not God, whom is spirit? But worse, you make Jesus a liar, for He said, "I go to the Father" (whom is spirit). Your point is void. No, "every...

    Rapture and End Time Beliefs

Why must you label me? I am a Christian.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

As I have already explained, and should be obvious: Even among the twelve, one was a devil and another Jesus called Satan. As for the early church fathers, 5 out of 7 of the only group of churches that pertain, Christ had somewhat against - even in the first century. You have no case. Their...

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

It is not interpretation, but clearly stated: "God is spirit." John does address Christ coming in the flesh - but what does it say? He does not say everyone in the flesh, but "every spirit." As for after His resurrection, you are assuming that the "like manner" eluded to by the angel of the...

    Rapture and End Time Beliefs

The "rapture" is not a bus ride to safety, nor can it be viewed as such if one is to have understanding. The "rapture" is the word used to describe the euphoric experience of attaining the spirit of God - rebirth, poorly described by men seeing through a glass dimly. Throughout the scriptures...

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

Yes, you have it wrong. John also said, "we shall see Him as He is." Which, having gone to the Father, and being God, "is spirit." If we are His followers, we do not stop where the flesh stops (as many do to their own loss), but continue on in spirit, just as He did.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

If you want to put all the church fathers in one group, that is your choice, which is quite presumptuous...as if you knew each and every one's heart. But I would not. But their numbers and votes do not count, nor do ours. The issue is not up for debate. The problem is to have made a religious...
