    Very well said...

    Paul And The Law

Tell me, WHO is walking down the wide path? Jesus said THE LAWLESS will be banished from Him. Mathew 7:23 Who are the lawless if not those who do not obey the law? What does lawless mean to you?

    Paul And The Law

Oh. Is growing and maturing what Jesus was talking about when He said: John 5:24-29 24“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. 25“Truly, truly, I say to you, an...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

How could we BE SURE it's faulty? John 6:54 says that unless we CHEW on the body of Jesus we will not have eternal life. Why use the word chew? Jesus said THIS IS MY BODY, as He held up the bread. What could He have meant by this?

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Yes...This is what my brother always tells me. Thanks for reminding me.... My words are spirit and they are life. He didn't say my body is life if you eat it... But He did say, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son... What would this mean?

Do you know Catholic doctrine? (or dogma in this case). If you did, you'd know why IT IS important!

    Paul And The Law

Out of thankfulness? OK. Maybe. How about out of the fact that God demands obedience? Too much for ya?

    Paul And The Law

Well Heb, we might want to chat a bit about WHICH is the true gospel. BTW, you're first verses prove that eternal security does not exist. We are saved ONLY IF we hold firmly to the word that was teached. Question is: What was that word? Here's an idea: Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not lose...

    Paul And The Law

Works do not save anyone. Faith saves...not works. AFTER we're saved, we are required to do God's will. Call it works..call it what you will. But obey we must.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Thanks for reminding me about the cannabilism. AND the ECF's. I go back and forth...it makes me crrrrazy! I envy catholics that are so sure of this. Don't know why I have to be so cerebral....

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

I don't think we'll know who's wrong till we get to heaven. Jesus sounded pretty literal....OTOH, it's difficult to understand how this could be...but with God all things are possible.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

I found this....I do seem to remember learning this (not from the net)... It does seem that Martin Luther believed in some type of transubstantiation..or the Real Presence -- I don't really understand the difference. I just wish I could make up my mind about this... The Eucharist in the...

It just would have been more interesting and knowledge-giving if you had answered....now the conversation is lost.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Oh for goodness sake... Mary is not a sales person. She's stating her beliefs, which she is allowed to have. Why is She prosylitizing and not you? Just say you don't wish to speak to her if that's the case.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Didn't even Luther believe in transubstantiation? I seem to remember that he did.....not sure.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Good point....He let them go. I should do a study on the ECF.

I'm sorry. I agree with you. I've just known Mary longer I suppose. But .you're right. :)

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

If you're familiar with Catholic teaching, there should be no need for your question to @Marymog . It's obvious she's a traditional Catholic and adheres to church teachings.

Could you look up John 6:54 in the Greek and explain it? What does the word eat mean? I wonder if it means the same in the Aramaic.... I wonder what language Jesus was speaking at the last supper? Hebrew? Yes. I'm confused ....
