    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

You know me...I don't use Strong's. Many times the bible means "age".

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

i understand what you're saying. But time can be intended as a real thing. It exists, it passes. Stars get old and die out. Time is movement...things look the same but are not. You pass the a street on Monday. You pass it on Tuesday -- it looks the same, but it's not. Time has changed...

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

Don't need to run from Revelation --- I just don't go there! I'm told I'm missing a lot. We'll never know! As to hell, the word hell appears only one time in 2 Peter BUT the concept of hell is there. Jesus spoke about it. Weeping and gnashing of teeth.... Burned like branches... Condemned...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Don't understand you bb. Eternal mans no beginning and no end. Either in or out of the bible. Ages have endings....but what is eternal has no ending. As to the illusion....Einstein proved time is different from what we believed...it's not set. But it still exists....

Why? What to replace it with? How much fish would I have to eat! It's good for the heart and strokes, you even said so.

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

How does their appearing a second time for judgement make the condemnation match the sin? I'm sorry but I'm so ignorant of this subject. If a person is destined for the hot place and they get judged immediately upon death as Paul taught, and Jesus, then why judge them again at this White Throne...

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

Funny! Yes. I agree. But then the question comes up as to why they need to be at the Great White Throne Judgement. Personally, I believe we're judged at death and that's it. (Gosh I dislike Revelation).

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

I take Omega 3, what's the right ratio? I think I take 4,000 mg a day. I can't figure it out right now. No. Maybe it's 2,000. My granddaughter is not healed from autism. You think there's a cure? Not yet anyway. We got her private therapy and a private Psychiatrist. The govt one would...

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

If everything melts because of the great heat,,,so will humans. I just believe Jesus is coming back one time. All those that are still living will be taken up to heaven...and those that are going to the other place will go there. Those in the graves will be joined with their bodies and then...

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

I agree. I do know this..Jesus comes back ONE TIME, not two. He comes back at the end of the age. Wait. With conflagration...do you mean the apocolypse?? With people still living on earth?

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Yeah. You can GET IN IT, but you're not a PART OF IT. That God created time is an accepted theological concept. I can't argue something that all of Christianity accepts. When God created US, He necessarily had to create time. Or maybe He created time when He created the universe...this I don't...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

You and bb agree. What am I not getting across?? Sodom is not God. It's a place on earth. Earth has time....Of course it's not still burning.

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

I don't know if you understood me or if I'm not understanding you. When Jesus said those words...WHAT did He mean? It's all conjecture IMHO. He could have been reciting Psalm 22, or He could have felt abandoned by God Father, or He could have felt His own people were against Him and hated Him...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

If Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world... And God is not part of time... Doesn't this mean that Jesus "was slain" from the BEGINNING? And what do you mean, who brought up God? I did !

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

bb, YOU don't get to make up the meanings of words! Forever is different from eternal. I agree that in the world forever could mean till you die and then YOUR forever ends. But we're talking about God here and spiritual matters.... Get on board!

I agree. It also turns people off to Catholicism --- even those that might be interested in it or interested in becoming Catholic.

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

I'm not reading along and I don't know too much about Revelation since most of it is not literal.... But, by your post above, I can say this. Jesus set up God's SPIRITUAL Kingdom -- in which we live, and which would change our society if more were in it. The material Kingdom will come at the...
