Excellent question...darn, I wish I had asked it!! :D Looking forward to hearing the wise answer! :) Not that we will get any answer other than a couple of scriptures quoted.

:D Can you write me one that you think will affect my husbands EARS...he is getting deafer and will not get hearing aids!!!!:rolleyes: :confused: ..and, while we are about it..any tips about falling down? I fell three times last week...and again a few days ago! Not dizzy or anything...more...

@Dcopymope Agree, it totally makes everything pointless all the whole of the NT null and void. I read in some thread earlier on this morning ( Canada's morning that is :D)but I have forgotten which thread or by whom. There was a lot to read when I first came on her this morning. Which is...

It took me a couple of tries to read it...I kept getting pop ups the sign up, and join the tour. But I finally got to read it! :) Very interesting. Would love to actually see it!

I don't see it as a biblical word. And I can't say how I understand it The bible tells me " The Lord thy God is ONE".... I believe it. The Father, The Son , and Holy Spirit are One. The same One. I " think" that The Lamb has been the part of Godhead which has had contact with the earth...

@GodsGrace WELL SAID. :)

That just shows how different we all are. I had 20 years of the ' mainline' traditional fundamental teaching. NOW, these past 30 years much of it I find suspect. People are afraid to sit before God with an open hand and trust Him. I found that I had been spoon fed in the beginning and had...

Thanks for posting that. ... good map. My first thought was...that these traveling preachers of today use, and ask for money for their jets...yet ' back then' the " traveling preachers" WALKED the globe...at best had a donkey. I remember once checking how far poor Jonah had to walk from the...

To the confused I usually use John 3:12-13 to show the majesty of the godhead. One God expressing Himself in three ways, but One. We know that people often ask- "How can Jesus be God and He was separated from God in death ..how can He die and still be God, so he can't be God." I...

What is ECF ? That's why I "quoted you." :) ----------

Agree, @michaelvpardo ONE God, who can and does, express Himself as three. Or however we are comfortable in saying it. I don't think Father sits and wrings His hands when we don't 'get it right.' I am convinced we care about it much more than He does! :D It always comes back to our heart...

I still maintain that we serve a BIG God....so I am sure none of us can worship or really know who God is or His depth. We yield if we are followers to what He shows us along the way...but my heart of hearts believes as C.S. Lewis did....and what he pictured and showed in his book The Last...

Cold now..plus 8C no idea of the F. We have rain now..after so long without it, so it's not before time. I "think" rain ( if they have it) is helping with the fires. Hope so anyway. The Calgary Firefighters saved the Prince Of Wales Hotel in Waterton Lake resort. (it's old...for Canada)...

I just posted in the other Thread...Satan - a bitter, jealous adversary of Job ( not sure that link goes to my own post) I am pretty clueless as you'd read in that post I just made. I can see from scripture ( I think) how God used him as in Job...it was God who brought Satan's attention to...

God, The Thought. Jesus Spoke it..Being The Word. The Holy Spirit, performed it. Being One. ( that is how I have always seen it :))

My peace is found in Psalm 103:10 "He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities." Praise God for that!!! \0/ \0/ \0/

In fairness to @face2face I have to say that I have heard some doctrines that Satan is the Left hand of God. I struggle with the whole thing...I can swing both ways. But my problem always comes when I think that God made him, and God uses him as a tool to perfect and mature us...and at...

Agree. Making God a schizophrenic!!!! As I see it Satan is a tool God made..he fell = Choice, God is using him to perfect His people. Do I understand it all...NO!! Everything that any of us say is our "best guess". :)

Quote from Dr. Fruchtenbaum’s book on Satan’s five “I will” they provide insight into what motivates Satan Satan really isn’t interested in us, capturing our souls, or causing us to sin. We really don’t amount to a hill of beans in his sight but he is willing to use us if it suits his purposes...

Yes, It seems we all agree...the Heart of God is Love, the Love of God was expressed in His Son Jesus Christ. The love of the Father drew us to Himself and to the cross...first for redemption ...and then to share the love for God's heart and His Plan of grace toward those who as still in the...
