The disciples asked Jesus in John 6:29 - " What shall we do to work the works of God.Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

Whatever you say....I wont argue. HE IS GOD...He is Omnipresent ..."If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea...." You must cary on believing what you believe...

Sorry, not interested. I have had countless conversations with JW's during my life..and we are for sure not on the same page. Because I am over the age of "three score years and ten" ....and in that time and since, I have found that they just change what they say they believe!! Back in the...

THREE...There is one Jesus the man that walked this earth...for the 33 yrs He was here. Yet Christ was "before the foundation of the world.." He was after. Revelation paints a picture the Glorified Lord Jesus Christ. Rev 1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto...

Yes,... to all three. Glorified .

:D Too true...It could well be...nothing "in God" would surprise me... ...He is working His perfect plan.

That is something that I have often wondered about! If that were really true , then God would not have allowed the serpent into the Garden!!! Neither would He have planted the "tree" of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst! Surly, He is not a cruel God that puts a snake in the...

IF that is what you believe...I don't! There must be first the Day of Judgement before any distruction that you speak about. Do you really believe in a destruction of those who never 'heard'? Or those who heard , but did not understand. Or those, who like those Paul came across, who...

Now that is a point I didn't think of when I copied the artical .....very good point. You are right of course , we certainly do have to " weigh " whatever a person brings to us...not all people are sharing things with us for honest or good reasons!! :) But, would you still agree , that even...

A Quote:- ~ Written by Matt Tomlinson.~ " If I am defensive, pride is raising it's head at me. If I am defensive, I still think I know better than anyone who disagrees with me. If I am defensive, I still am, to some real degree, UNTEACHABLE. If I am defensive, I am revealing an...

Maybe the End, and the marriage supper of the Lamb. But, as we are never separated from the Lord...we are already in His presence.

Just counted, and Sword used the word "I" sixteen times in his post. Using Christ once, God once, and Jesus once. I wonder who is on his mind the most? :( No trick question.

I think I understand what she is saying. A baby doesn't need faith in God, it has no concept of God or sin at that point. I know we are all born under the taint of Adam...yet God is a good and Just God...the blood of Jesus was enough for any baby. They just couldn't acknowledge it. And, as...

Mark 9:14-29 And when He came to his disciples, He saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them..... 16 And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them? And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb...

@mjrhealth Thank you. I enjoyed that. it reminded me of Isaiah 37.31 "And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward." Bless you. ( I am missing Pia...hope she is okay..PM me if she isn't..thanks)

Hi there. I think we shall just have to disagree on this one then. :) Until God Himself shows me otherwise, I will go to my grave believing the The Father poured out all vengeance upon The Son. Do I believe in judgement, yes. I believe in the Day of Judgement ...I believe as the Book...

Well, I won't be asking any. I know in whom I have believed. Any questions I need answering I ask the Lord...or the Lord within His people. You only wanting to 'answer questions' speak to me of someone who hasn't really joined the Site to be a part of it....o_O So no, sorry. I won't have...

Great post...never quite seen it that way before...good one!!

If I remember rightly, they even put sack cloth and ashes on the cattle.. Nineveh repented....God saved everyone. Thats why we have the end bit of the story, where Jonah sat and sulked under the vine..in the shade, God killed the vine so Jonah had no shade..he was then really angry. :)...

Maybe someone mentioned this already...sorry I have not read every word of every post. So please forgive if this is a repeat. ( and I am sure the thread has moved on beyond this like all threads do!) Luke 4:17 And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when He...
