I too, like you, are still mystified why some people choose to stay and 'try' over and over to please God by "being good"...then they live miserable, because they know that they do not, cannot, measure up! It also keeps us in a state of feeling unrighteous, or feeling self righteous when they...

And what are we told to OBEY? 1) LOVE GOD WITH EVERYTHING WE HAVE. 2). LOVE OUR NEIGHBOUR .... Personally it looks like some people spend their life 'trying' to keep the Ten Commandments reather than ....doing what Jesus said the Two Great commandments on which all the law hangs. HIS words...

God DID very much " require " something...that is the whole POINT. And Jesus was sent because man could in himself never be all God required. You either believe that Jesus paid the full price, or you don't!! And YES He 'requires' us to believe 100% and have total faith in the finished work of...

@pia YES!! That is an excellent OP :) Must sleep now...but I want to come back to this tomorrow... Bless you.....H

AMEN...YES...totally . :) I wish they had a thumbs up icon.

Looks like you mind is already made up...as is mine. :) I never try to persuade anyone to believe what I believe. That's between you and the Lord ..... As bbyrd009 mentioned , to see your whole post...just click the right hand side of your quoted name above after the word...'said' There are no...

Amen! That is powerful...and it is a revelation if we have eyes to see and ears to hear. It is as old as the creation!! The very thing that the serpent tricked Eve with was the thought that "she had not " She fell for it and believed that she lacked something ( the knowledge of good and...

God took care of the Old Law, in Jesus Christ.. we are not under the law, and Paul tells us that over and over... "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross..." The law has not been removed or...

@GodsGrace Oh great you are clever, you found a drawing AND posted it...I have no idea how to post pictures and stuff. Yes, and in the overlapping parts of the circles I see the Heart in one, and the Mind in the other. :) Our soul, under full sway of The Spirit ( and not the...

@Pisteuo Thank you! What a needful reminder...I am sure ( hopefully in times past) We have all said that. I even said the other day about not attending church services because of the lack of Holy Spirit leadership. I have indeed said  :- " There is no life here, no anointing here, no...

@amadeus " In addition to cleaning garbage out of the house, the house must also refilled with the good things of God. This results from eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus as per John 6:53. Some might say that is simply done through Holy Communion, but it is more than eating a...

I so often find it strange, that People are concerned when any natural catastrophe occurs, or atrocity is in the news. Yet the same people can so easily sound quite calm as they speak about he'll fire. That seems quite arrogant to me, as if mankind has a bigger heart than God himself does...

Hello there :) The way I see it is...like three circles. WISH I COULD DRAW IT! Ha! Body= the outer court ...(represented by the Tabernacle patten in scriptures.) ..linked/door to the next circle by the mind.( which is being renewed) Soul being within the middle circle, is a picture of the Holy...

I was married, had two babies and was bored. God knew I loved history..so I was hooked by the history side ( true or not, it was good reading! ha!)...Once God got my attention..by allowing me to think that the Brit's came from Ephraim...my heart was touched and I then started seeking in earnest...

It's there for people like me, :D.... who post, and then like Scott said...I see that I said something kind of clunky , so I edit it to make more sense. Or misspelled something. Yes it could be misused...but like lForrest said...if a person quotes a post , kind of hard to go back and say.."...

:D Believe it or not 50 years ago...it was his stuff that ' set me seeking'. lol But, we all know that God even uses donkeys!! :) True seekers who are after God won't be fooled... I got interested in British Israelite stuff via him...but when I wrote to them ( as a real seeker) all they could...

// First, you will be expected to obey and believe everything David Pack (who believes he is unique) tells you. You will have to agree that Pack is an Apostle and that he is the Elijah (he previously believed that Herbert Armstrong was the Elijah). /// Wow what a surprise.... :D... everything...

@H. Richard Great opening post! AMEN!! The Last Adam reversed all that the first Adam caused when he 'dropped the ball'. Praise God for His mighty plan of Salvation. ✝️ Re last line of OP....NO...it did not continue...

Amen!!! Very good balance between the two...that is what I mean when I mention that "Grace has accountability" ....* same with Faith...if faith does not show change...it is a very ' baby' faith. Some Christians do take the first step...but never the second or learn to toddle, let alone...

Living under the New Covenant but trying to " do good" so that you will be counted righteous. We " do good" because we have been declared righteous, not to earn it! One is legal works, one is spiritual works. Clinging to a " works of the law" mentality ....spits on the finished work of...
