Are Beliefs and Faith the Same?

There is indeed a difference between belief and faith. With belief, the matter is possibly finished. Whether or not you need to wait to see the outcome, you are convinced and committed, and if it aligns with God's truth, it is finished. With faith, the matter is not finished with you, even if...

    ANTI-CATHOLICISM IN THE MEDIA

Now you blaspheme, calling God alone ignorant, and the church a god.

Need some help on this verse...binding things on earth

It depends on the context. If you draw things out, then it can take a lifetime. But if we believe the scriptures, then it is instant: we "have" been made new...old things "have" passed away. Being born again, is not philosophical or physiological, or even a matter of faith in ones inner being...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

This is the most abstract. Everything that was done, was done according to God, whom is timeless. So, then, we can break it down to our "hour" of decision, and imagine that it was actually "in the twinkling of an eye" - but that is just man or world speak.

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Not exactly. But rather, that the timeline of history exists within a timeless reality, which is of God. So, then, if time does not exist with God, there is no Beginning or End of time per se, but rather it is a detailed truth told by the media of time. Thus, Jesus, who is the Beginning and the...

Need some help on this verse...binding things on earth

Not all who are born again of the spirit of God have faith to act within their new creation, and therefore, linger and continue in their own form of purgatory to bury the dead they should have shed, and live, as they say, as if "It's a process." These are the unprofitable servants, the seed...

    ANTI-CATHOLICISM IN THE MEDIA

Is it an anti-catholicism to say, I prefer Godism...but without the 'ism?

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

End times, does not mean those times at the end of time. It means, the end of God's will...meaning, that in the context of His eternal and timeless reality it is as if He determined all things and then snapped His fingers, and it was so. Times, then, in that scenario, refers to the unfolding...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

He did do it in a single event. Interestingly, science refers to it as the big bang. But, I digress...back to the single event: In the creation the timeline is rather a story line...history is His story. In other words, when the scriptures say, "It is written"...that is exactly what is meant...

Need some help on this verse...binding things on earth

The catch is...if it is the old you running the show...then no one gets condemned, and you go away with a headache, get taken off the "Used by the Lord" list, and get a talking to later. If it is Christ in you speaking/acting...it's eternal.

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

The original OP question was just an apropos quote from a Chicago song, bringing attention to the general idea and understanding of time. The point, my point, was and is to show that for the sake of our own eternal future, that we would increase in the things of God and decrease in the ways of...

    Is this a sin?

It would appear he is gone with the wind. It was a picture of a kid picking his nose...said it was his son. Anyway, it was grossly difficult to look at, really quite rude, and purposely disturbing. He got our attention alright, but for all the wrong reasons.

PS, Collaboration: 1 Corinthians 6:2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? These are the times of our reign with Christ upon the earth.

Jay, Where I usually consider myself a tactful person having understanding and consideration toward those who are skeptical, and that I am reasonable communicator, I am not trying to sell anything. I am not here to exercise my opinion or some theory. I am simply freely giving what I have freely...

Need some help on this verse...binding things on earth

No, that is not what He meant. It is not about us [really]. It is about Christ reigning "in us" to bring all things in heaven and earth under submission, to "make the earth His footstool" as it were. So, then, using your example: If you let go of an offense to you...and it is not you who has...

    Born again requirement ?

If you fully understood, you would rightly divide the word of truth. But because you have not received Him as He is, you apply what was not meant for these times to your life in vain. Therefore, He said, "For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together" and, “Follow Me...

    Church

If we understand that the church is built of those born again of the spirit of God, who no longer live, but Christ lives in them...then it is only Christ who should speak in church, not His bride. This is the reign of Christ, not the reign of those who died to sin, as some kind of zombie...

    The hereafter ?

It would be interesting to hear from a present-day mainstream Jew. Biblically, they waited for Messiah, but did not recognize Him when He came, and therefore, look for another. Some believed in the resurrection, some did not.
