Yes, that is what I am saying...but not sure I would use those words though!! I wouldn't say " invest in their salvation " ...because that does not sound much 'for loves sake.'!! I would say, 'invest in their love relationship with the Lord.' Surely it is all about our love for Him...

Preaching, evangelism etc is for the salvation of the soul as I see it. Then follows the growing up in grace and love. That's the thing , we all know that we can each bring scriptures to the table to justify what we each believe. Easily done. I believe that He will save everyone...I may...

Hi there Well, I do believe that. The thing is...why would (should) we expect to wake up in heaven, and find that we have a special relationship with God there, when we haven't " pressed-in" and given our relationship 100% attention down here. I don't think that just because our salvation has...

You could well be right ...I have never thought of that.....I had just presumed that they were a tool to bring division and bring the west to its knees ...but when we remember Esau and Jacob....that gives weight to your thought. Something to 'chew' upon...thanks.

I'm so glad that you mentioned that...I wanted to, but wasn't sure how it would go over. :) What you say is totally true. The one worlders and George Soros has unleashed this 'dog'....but now it is off the leash...I do wonder how they will control it, once it has done what the One Worlders...

This is one subject that I believe in..." T the name of Jesus, EVERY knee SHALL bow, and EVERY tongue SHALL confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. I am not saying...there is no FIRE...for our God IS a consuming fire. "The fire tries every mans works.." :) I wont argue this point with...

I have nothing to add right now....but I did just want to say that I thought this was an excellent thread...really enjoyable. Bless you both!!

Amen indeed!!

That was interesting.....The union between Christ and His Church...which is what we see in The Garden ....how stupid of me... With Adam and Eve...in all my years..I had never ever thought the thought.....that Adam and Eve were not ever "married" :D :).... I could smack myself, very obviously I...

Amen....I can for sure agree with all that! Hope that you are enjoying the site...even when it does gets a bit argumentative! Ha!

Nice to see you. Bless you!

Truth. Re Christmas story.. Is that correct? Maybe decades ago...but in this day I don't know any Christians who believe that Jesus was born in December. Or that there were only three wise men. Most have wised up...and only hold " Christmas" as the tradition it has become..'a nice winter...

I am wondering how you can say that. If what you say above is true...then I for one have missed that. I do NOT find that to be so on this site. There is MUCH more debating between Catholic and Protestant , and any smacking at the Jews. I feel totally the opposite...most MATURE Christians...

Excellent word... It's always easy to say that, when one totally agrees with what is written! Ha!! I stand on that too. ( though I was baptised in water many years ago- 'because our Pastor told us to '.... and that good too. ) :)

I find that I go back and back ,to Luke 19. Not so much " studying" but reading it and waiting for insight. :) Jesus has just finished with Zacchaeus and goes into the parable of the talents..( I have never seen the connection! 11 And as they heard these things, ( re Zacchaeus) He added...

Amen..praying now...✟

:) I agree, I do NOT think God is as hard and fast on " right and wrong"..as we are!! I think when we all get Home, God will be much more interested in our heart, in our motives, and our faithfulness, much more than checking if we got everything right, with all T's crossed, and all i's...

See, there you go again...pretending that " only you" have the full revelation on this subject. Either SAY something relevant to it...or just SHUT UP , stop showing off about how clever you are to have a " direct line" to the Holy Spirit!

Believe what you like. You dangle things before us , just so you can tell us how stupid we are. What on earth makes you think that you , and you only, " know" what was in the mind of God when He brought Eve out of the side of the first Adam. You can guess, you can make a doctrine out of...

Come on.....I just said what "I " believe what Paul is so obviously was say. God does not contradict Himself. He would not say otften " don't trust men" ...He also told us not to trust our ourself or our feelings. NOWHERE in that Chapter does it refer to men. As I read it , everything is...
