Amen to opening post. \0/ \0/ \0/ ( personally I am amazed that he is still alive...I thought they would 'do a JFK ' before now!! )

Agree...condemnation..."beaten with many stripes"...darkness ..punishment, chastening ....but who says this is forever?? o_O   . ✟

Agree...sadly, once more we have someone judging the relationship we each have with the Lord. It seems that some people just have a great "need" to be right..and condemn anyone who does agree with their own 'interpretation ' of things..

Yes indeed...That Is The Truth. :)

By the way...welcome to the forum Mike.

I believe in loss of position. I believe Christians will "wail and gnash their teeth" when they se what they "could have been" and are not...as Paul not wanting the miss the mark of the prize of the high calling.... I believe in a time of dark separation. I do not believe that a Christian...

That is great...I had never "seen" that! Neither have I ever heard it preached. :) Excellent thought!! To God be the glory!!! \0/ \0/ \0/ \0/ ✟

I would say that any ' binding' is like in the OT...the slave who was set free, after doing all his years....but chose to stay with His master as a " love slave" ...he had his ear put up to the door post and his ear drilled through ... and a nail hole made ...to show everyone that he was FREE ...

Maybe I said it badly. What I mean is...the ONLY thing we need to get " right" is believing in the great salvation sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us.....the unfathomable love of God , which bypasses our understanding....and the total integrity of God nature. Other than that , who is right or...

:) Totally agree...Two very good foundational scriptures through life!

There will for sure be free will. It's just that satan is bound...so the temper cannot tempt to sin. That does not mean that our own will is bound. Let's remember that satan and one third of the Angels fell in the first place, there was nothing tempting them, except what was "within" them...

And, I couldn't do this either!!! LOL

Well..... Eve 'saw that the 'fruit' of the tree was good...and able to make one wise.' I believe that Eve believed the lie. The lie being that God was not Good, or Truth-ful. ..and was holding out on them in not giving them full knowledge and wisdom...and she believed satan's lie, (...

I can't see for the life of me ,why people "want" or need it to be an allegory...!! How does that make things easier for them? ( Personally , where the two trees in Eden are concerned...I believe once again its not either or, but both. I believe the account of Genesis..but I also believe God...

Sad story. Yes, we will take time to pray right now. May God show abundant mercy, grace and favour..and touch Charlie right now. At the name of JESUS every knee shall bow...therefore we command this fatal spirit if disease to BOW and depart in the Name above all names...JESUS. ✟

Wow, this Quote...is where this thread started...on a spiritual note. Sadly threads seem to end up somehow with debates on who has the last word and who is right!! BreadOfLife ....and, If you use that "user name" of being bread of life.. it would be nice if you lived up to it somewhat! Just...

Hey there ...I'm not sure it should be " who is satan's seed", but rather, 'what' is satan's seed. My thoughts- John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in...

I remember decades ago being told this, I really thought it would happen much quicker. ( I believe God held back their agenda by grace) I scared my too little girls spit-less , by telling them that if these things started happening , they must stay strong for Jesus and not ever give in. They...

Yes, that is about where I am on this too. As yet I haven't seen anything confirming anything different!!

Wow, great posts here. This gives me LOTS of things to re read slowly....and get it all sorted out in my heart. Thank you very much. But don't stop...if you have more...share it! :)
