Yes. My Italian bibles say Apocalisse. Interesting.

Well Nancy, looks like we agree on everything! :)

What bible do you read? The NASB says Revelation. I like that better because it reveals hidden things...which I don't really know what they are.

    Mother Teresa

NOTHING could make me a calvinist.

Oh stop. You're scaring the natives. And anyway, I'm not ready for the end. I still have to read Revelation...!!

I'm hanging in there! It must be a pretty big book! I never even thought about this till I posted about Revelation. See. This is why I keep away from Revelation...it makes me think too much... :)

    Mother Teresa

I agree with all you've said. I just don't understand why you say that Catholics believe in a different salvation theology...

LOL babble-on addicts? The M word? It made me laugh, but I guess it's not so funny. Could it be that someone in the upper room said: "Now, let's count everyone here so that when Acts is written, Luke will know exactly how many persons to write about". Yes. I think it could get kind of silly...

So what do you believe??? Soul sleep? Nothing else left.

    Mother Teresa

Do bad works get us into heaven? What's wrong with works? You should think highly of M.Teresa. She actually lived the gospel message. Isn't this what Jesus wanted?

Hi Nancy, nothing much left to read. You've explained it all perfectly ... BTW, welcome.

Where in the world are you?

LOL Nothing is better than Abraham's Bossom!! Maybe the next thread could be about what we Don't like about where we live??!! Perfection is not on this Earth....

    Mother Teresa

No I'm not! I like the parts of revelation that can be understood as literal. Jesus knocking and we could let Him in. Reminds me of John 3:16. The warnings to the churches. Sin will not enter into heaven. For instance, do you believe the Book of Life to be a literal book?

    Mother Teresa

12 x 12 is 144. I always thought it represented the twelve tribes of Israel. Could it be a perfect number? Like 7 is God's number? Like 666 is just short of a complete and perfect number. Honestly, I don't understand why Revelation is discussed. P.S. what does your signature line mean?
  16. GodsGrace

    Mother Teresa

Do you believe everything in Revelation is literal? It can't be... A dragon with many heads ,,, or is it horns? Envelopes being opened. Jesus knocking on a door... This is all symbolism.

Where in the world are you?

Triumph 1300 posted that image. It's a pretty scary looking image. I wasn't around and am wondering what was going on here....

Where in the world are you?

    Oh yeah. Prove it.

Where in the world are you?

Here's one image I'm not clicking to see the full view. Poor guy. Why did you post it?

Where in the world are you?

Actually, Paul, the artist, used to live in Washington Heights. He used to hate going to visit his mom in Queens because of the traffic crossing the Bronx. You ain't gotcha me yet!
