Faith in God may or me not be serving me in a concrete way. Like He may not be healing me. But I always rely on Him. He's a part of my life...I can't imagine my life without God. It's like someone you love.

You need a definition for divine. With no definition, the answer would be no. We are not God and we are not like God. And we will not be spiritually complete on this Earth. 1 John 1:8-10 John said we sin. God does not sin.

Everybody has an opinion on this subject.

The other person brought up fear. (But speaking to someone else) I don't think of fear regarding my salvation. This is not why I stay with God. Seems to me we have a choice, be on God's side or on Satan's side. To me, it's an easy choice. Plus, Jesus presented Himself to me many years ago...

I don't get your last paragraph. Some on this very forum believe that I live in fear of God. An unhealthy fear,,,just because I don't believe in osas.

I agree. I do have to say that I think rituals are good for children. It ties them more to the faith.

I knew that to fear God means to have respect for Him and the fact that He's the creator. Thanks for the info.

I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles and the fact that there is little to do. When we pray, we pray for healing but also for God's will. Illness is not His will, but sometimes we don't get the miracle we pray for. God is always with us and is our strength. I'm sure we'll all be praying for you.
